Speaking with another tourist, we found a location where a lot of tour guides go. This lady has a group of about ten monkeys that come to her house every morning. For $3, you get a plate of bananas and corn. You put one hand on a tree that a monkey is in, and hold the plate in the hand away from the tree. The monkeys will climb down the tree and across you to get to the food. Then, if they're comfortable with you, they'll eat while still on you.
This particular monkey had already taken food from Mrspa and thrown her ball cap to the ground. It then came over to me, grabbed a banana and sat there, eating. After it was done with the banana, it took notice of my hat, and tried to take it off. I grabbed the bill to hold the hat on, and the monkey then tried to bite my head. When it realized it couldn't get a mouthful of hat, it then hit me on the head a few times, before finally giving up.
I’m guessing the monkey is an Iowa fan, like most monkeys.
If you like that kind of thing, you don't need to fly to Costa Rica; just drive to Rutgers and get it for free!
One night in San Jose, two nights in La Fortuna, two nights in Liberia and five near Puntarenas.
Aside for maybe the pin count you are describing lil Nevills in that portion.
Did I miss someone claiming Snacks is a lock to AA as a true freshman?
Yes Papa, you could probably say that for any of the top 285 recruits other then Steveson. However, no one is projecting Nevills, as a true freshman, could step in for a 5th year starter that might be ranked as high as #1 or #2 and duplicate those points. Cassioppi is a fine recruit and will slot into Stoll's spot nicely, just think the projections I have seen by some are a bit over the top, especially if you start looking for results to justify such loft expectations.

To be fair, the group claiming Cassioppi could step onto the mat as a true freshman and be a Stoll equivalent is the same group that pretty much believes every Hawk recruit is Spencer Lee.

Which is a very small group. I'm positive there are some here that believe snacks could jump in and AA right away. Every fan base has its Homer's including your own believe it or not

Based on the number of pics that Mrspa took, we would have had to do a lot of staging of pics with fake monkeys.
Not necessarily. Just as Clouseau would have done, the blow up minkey could be used to blend into the minkey culture to get the information needed.

Was the conversation about little snacks or Cass? If it had been about the youngest Nevills and exaggerated expectations then PSU fans would be an appropriate part of the conversation, it wasn't and they aren't.
He was basically offering an olive branch there and you kind of blew it. Could an "impending date" be causing you to be a little on edge?

Talk about goal post moving. You guys could take any single statement on HR and turn it into a representation of "most" Hawkeye fans. Happens all the time here. I will tell you this much, more crap gets dragged back here from HR than vice versa. Weird since there is a lot more traffic on HR
Ok I'll bite, call me Homer Simpson. My view is most of the big men are dancing bears and the few who have some real athleticism separate themselves pretty easily. I don't think Snacks Jr. or Cassi will wrestle this year (assuming Sr. Is healthy and if not Cassar will go, and Stoll will make it back from the gun shot). That said, I feel pretty good about both being AAs out of the gate next year as RS freshmen in 2019/2020. Podium guys, I won't go there, but AA, yessir. Sure Gable will be dominant as soon as he steps on the mat, but for the other two, to AA is far from out of the question. Snacks is a consensus #2 or 3 behind Gable and Cassi has been a man on a mission this year, very impressive.

Fair enough. My response to you was a combination of time of day, another post regarding Cassioppi in this thread, previous comparisons of the two and thoughts I already had about Nevills being overly regarded for a couple years. Overrated is not the term for it.
I don't think Cassioppi would step on the top half of the podium or is a lock to AA as a true frosh but he has true frosh AA potential. IMO based on the eye test when their careers are done

- 4 of Sammy Brooks' 6 bouts were decided by Pin; it was the only way he lost--to Nickal & Dudley--and he decked both Parker and Geer.
- Drew Foster earned AA in the R12 with a 3-1 DEC over Michael Macchiavello--had forgotten he was at 184 the year before becoming a 197 pound Champ!
