Guess which school wasn't mentioned? They brought up OSU, USC, ND, TCU and even Clemson.

Why is this confusing? Although ND shouldn't be included because they lost to Georgia and Miami and can't jump them.
TCU is highly unlikely. Clemson, Ohio State and USC are really the only three with a shot. We have no shot--you know that, right? Just like Miami has no shot with 2 losses. They should have included Oklahoma not TCU

Shouldn't have dropped the game to MSU, would have taken care of everything. Off topic but after all the bickering early in the season about the big tens record in OOC games and needing the conference to look strong so that we could make the playoff and OSU losing to Oklahoma being a disaster for us, none of that mattered. Just needed to beat Michigan State. Funny how that works out.

Different metrics for different teams. Recent success carries more weight than winning today essentially.

Yep. Unfortunately it was a perfect scenario for MSU. Coming off a tough road loss, a couple of starters injured, road game, MSU well rested, bad weather, 5 hour delay, etc.

That applied last season.....right?

Of course OSU shouldn't have lost to Iowa, ND shouldn't have lost to GA, etc....see, it goes both ways.

Good Lord, we made our own bed. The phrase I believe is "capturing defeat from the jaws of victory. My wife and myself are happy we can go to home games and cheer for the kids. The kids will enjoy the post season. Listen to the nuances in interviews coming from the kids, they are terrific kids. My wife often has tears from her eyes when talking about individual players.

Another fine performance so far from one of those outstanding two loss teams. Maybe the "experts" can dig down and find another two loss team other than PSU, until that team loses too.
