- I wish I could thank every wrestler to their faces for the ridiculous performance they put on last night. My son turned to me after this monumental win and said... "Dad... that was the match of the CENTURY... wasn't it". I said it was only billed as such and Penn State only has once in a generation wrestlers, every so often. Never believe in hyperbole unless it happens.
- I wish I could rethank the wonderful woman who gave my son her Zain Retherford Bobble head so I could hear my son say... "Zain... do you want to bring the pain today"... and my son would spring load Zain's bobble head with the appropriate boiiiiinggggg of his bobble head.... to poignantly answer yes.
- I want to apologize to my fellow fan who I grabbed after the end of Nick Nevills match and carried around the track in the standing room only area.... twice. I took you away from your wife and I knew she had to wonder what was going on as I lifted you to the rafters after Nick Nevills wrestled the match of his life to preserve the win. I only mentioned a week ago... that if Nick wrestled to his ability and forgot about Kyle Snyder's accomplishments... he could be the deciding factor in this match. Never believe, at least, unless that belief is in yourself. Way to go NICK.
- I thought Rec Hall was loud after Zain beat Logan Steiber or when Jordan Conaway beat Tyler Graff in overtime. That was mere whispers to the deafening tone as Nick Nevills sprawled and secured the match. I have limited hearing, tone deafness and my voice is unrecognizable to my closest friends. Thanks PENN STATE WRESTLING.... Wrestling lives here... and it's not a generational thing.
- I hope Micah Parsons who was at the match.... knows now what that feeling is like to be a Lion and beat Buckeyes. I think he'll like we all felt last night.
- I like to apologize to Ed Ruth's mom as I yelled loudly as I went by her, but cordially ceased after I realized who I was walking past. Someone tell Spyker... if anyone has his post ban personal information... I don't think Edmund was with her.
- If feeling good... is good enough.... I feel like I'm floating on cloud 9... teen. If feels so damn good. And 18 isn't "DESTROYING" anything.
