Tricky baseball play by Kentucky

Variation of the old 1st and 3rd play where the guy at first just stops. The psy-op wrinkle of falling down is pretty clever.

Pitchers sometimes develop these weird, oddball routines which I'm sure help them on some level, odd windups and odd variations of the stretch. Some sharp coach was waiting to exploit this pitcher's tendency to come set and stare at the ground for God knows what reason. The other side of that coin that makes a pitcher like this vulnerable is a lot of coaches preach routine, routine, routine. Do the same thing every time, which they claim is for consistency but it can also expose you; in this case, looking at the ground.
