If I count this up properly, here are their college commitments for the entire U20 finals:

Penn State: 7
Okie State: 2
Arizona State: 2
Nebraska: 2
Ohio State: 1
Stanford: 1
Bucknell: 1
Missouri: 1
Oregon State: 1
V-Tech: 1
Not Committed: 1

Another crazy stat is that Penn State, Iowa, and Rutgers, combine to have 35% of the U20 finalists!!

Then that means that Iowa and Rutgers have ........ none in the finals.

I just watched Duke vs Webster again and Duke wrestles a bit like Dake. Moves similar on the mat and is about impossible to score on. When he decides to attack he explodes and is super powerful. Not saying he’s as good as Dake just that his style is similar

Even the wayback machine can't find Iowa finialists at U20.
But seriously, I see a consistent trend where PSU wrestlers and recruits show up for events like this, but Iowa athletes show up as an afterthought, if at all. I think it speaks to a different mentality and maybe different personal goals for the athletes.

It’s an Open- anyone can show up, they just don’t.

Iowa doesn't show up if they know they are going to lose. It's a mindset.

Lilledahl is so good. His defense is incredible and he’s a high level finisher. This is a nice win. Kilkeary has had a good tournament and completely shut down Knox. He just dominated Kilkeary. That last td was beautiful!!

What a tournament. 6-0 with 6 techs. I didn’t think it was going to be that easy. 57kg was absolutely stacked and he just walked through it
