James Franklin is wiping the floor with Pitt in the recruiting game. It's embarrassing at this point. Any Pitt fan that thinks they can come here and brag about something is off their rocker. Is James Franklin really 27-1 with recruits? At this point, for all intents and purposes, CJF takes whatever recruits he wants from Pitt. It's getting embarrassing.
He's got a few BCS offers. Like Iowa and BC and one or two more. Stars aren't really important when a player has numerous BCS offers. Im hoping he comes in and dominates. We'll see. I trust Franklin likes what he sees because most of the DT's are still unsigned.
Their coach tries to be cocky. Ours is and backs it up. Dominate the state and region.
I think they got a few recruits over the weekend. Their LB coach Harley, currently is their only good recruiter. And he might get better. Problem for Pitt is other schools are going to notice this soon.
If it was that easy, I'd be willing to accept "The Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania" in exchange for purging the current PSU of the corrupt whores/gigs, dead-weight staff and hanger-on'ers.Perhaps we should embrace this new name. Flood has a new policy. No offers to Jersey kids unless they commit first. Tired of being their safety school. Went into effect shortly after Haskins went to Maryland. He grew up a stones throw from New Brunswick campus.
Seems to be working out well for Rutgers. I mean it's not like these kids can decommit the next day.
That was a JUCO and yes it was highly embarrassing to Flood and Rutgers. One day, and Flood was the guy who tweeted out the commitment, not the kid. Guess he won't be trying that again.
I think Dwumfour is a good player; it could simply be the case that Rutgers is only looking for one or possible two interior DL this class and they already got a commit from Hewitt the three star out of Florida. Or it could be that JF thinks Dwumfour will help generate more interest from Rashan Gary.
After all, Flood beat out HCJF for Kamaal Seymour

I agree that the Gary connection didn't hurt. It would be terrific if it just gets the kid to visit, with his Mom. We do have the only OL who slowed Gary down in any camp committed. They could renew acquaintances. I saw a report that Gary was visibly upset with being handled.
