We are better

Love it. Looks more like a WR at this point but great frame. Hope he's hungry in multiple ways.

His height might depend on his haircut. ;)

I think your'e right!

Kinda unsure why WV would not have at least offered. Seems weird... or maybe they knew they had no shot.
Also weird that the pitters didn't offer a great TE who played high school a lot closer to them than us. I guess the pitters have just given up on getting quality recruits. They have accepted that all their recruits will be MAC level. This guy would have been the star of their recruiting class if they could have gotten him.

He probably told them he wasn't interested after he got that Campbell offer.

Really? One half way decent game and you are ready to pencil the kid into the draft in three years?

He said "might" only be here two years. I think that's a fair statement. I can think of only one ball that he did not catch that he should have caught. If you isolate on him in runs you'll see that he blocks well, sometimes pancakes the defender -- as a true freshman. That is unusual. It's more likely to go from the dropsies to being reliable (Gesicki) than it is the other way around.

So no, if your planning or speculating like for the purposes of recruiting, in this case you have to be conservative -- two years after this one. Injury might change that, of course.

This is good, especially because Friermuth might only be here two more years.
I agree...I think Kuntz is going to be pretty good as well!

Nice to win this going head to head with tOSU for his services!

Pitt’s recruiting strategy seems to be “Let the big dogs eat, then we’ll feed off the scraps.”
Narduzzi takes a lot of heat when he loses recruiting battles to PSU, WVU and other top schools. Easier for him not to offer (and lose out on) top talent.
He used to be able to convince the Pitt fan base that Florida 2 stars are equal to 3 or 4 star players from the North. And his staff was skilled at taking lower ranked players and coaching them up.
Not so sure those 15,000 fans will fall for that voodoo after this season.
