This weekend, my theme is: My college years.

I am going to post music from my college years, 1982 - 1987 at PSU (took an extra year due to some personal matters). Should you choose to follow this theme, please indicate the years you were in college and where, as I am curious. If you did not attend, use your high school years.

1981-85. This, IMO, was a golden age of music.
You had all kinds of styles coming out Punk, Alternative, Rap...
and MTV was just getting started and really, really f'n good.

He teamed up with a guy from Generation X and Sigue, Sigue Sputnik, Tony James.

I ran across this last night, after downloading the new Sean Lennon/Les Claypool colaboration and it blew me away.
Really freaking good. Awesome cover of Court of the Crimson King and Astronomy Domine.
I think you could get a contact high from just being in the vacinity of the concert. LOL.

Ska was big for my years. This is a current song, though. And it's played on the radio out here. Weird.
