What are your thoughts on the PSU Ohio State duel ?

tOSU will be more fired up in the schott for the PSU dual. Very tough to wrestle in carver as you guys should know (even though you still came away with a decisive victory) the performance on our end however was still very lack luster......

Watching O$U and Iowa. Not impressed with O$U. Tomasello struggles against backup, MJ loses, Bo lethargic, Martin lazy, Moore solid, Snyder is gold. PSU will win 7 matches with several bonus. I only see O$U with 12-15 points. 133 pin, 197 dec, Snyder major.
Mike Evans, is that you?

He'll likely get the same result regardless. Jake is a shell of what he was last season for reasons I don't know. What's weirder is so is Smith
Smith I believe is simply cutting too much or too poorly.
Ryan wrestles like he isn't interested.

I really like Jimmy's improved performances, the last two matches, but I need to wait and see how he does against the Rutgers and Nebraska kid, at BTen, before I conclude he's an AA candidate.

Three cheers for

Does Snyder even attend college?
I cant believe he shows up for many classes.
Of course, neither did I.
SMH. How do you think he was eligibile?

BTW, they have this thing now called online education ... Nick Lee used it to wrap up his HS degree (and I think Mason Manville did as well).

Ben and Jerry did it by mail "at" PSU. It was called correspondence.

As wealthy as they've become and as "socially conscious" as they preach, one would think they would be on the Creamery's donor wall.

I'll be on a plane and won't see the match until much later but I'm really looking forward to it. Jimmy vs Pletcher is very intriguing. I don't know for sure but I can't imagine they grew up more than 10-15 minutes from each other. Jimmy will be on point for that match. I was hoping we would have landed Pletcher. He's going to be a good one. Already pretty good. I think Jimmy wins a tough match.
I think Hall can beat this version of Bo Jordan. The best 74 lber I've seen this year is Valencia. We'll find out a lot Friday but I think Hall can go with any of them.

I think Nickal makes a strong statement.

Snyder is in Russia wrestling in one of toughest freestyle tournaments tomorrow. He may be a little banged up and jet lagged when he comes back. With a long trip around the world, a touch of the flu, and an average ref, it could be a good opportunity for Nick....

There's been chatter on OWN I believe earlier in the season that Jake was dealing with an injury to his leg and then Tom added that he wasn't handling his weight cut properly. Regarding Smith, his father had said that he sustained an injury which hindered him from effectively cutting weight and he had bulked up over the summer.

Jimmy can MAJOR Pleacher at this point....

Jimmy is on fire.

Not sure what or whose advice he took lately, but he's letting it rip.

Hope that continues in Columbus on Friday.

Glad to say I was calling for jimmy to end his career with an AA finish, just confident that he will get everything straight from a mental perspective. I think he has had good wins every year and head scratching losses every year. Here's to finishing strong

Snyder likely not wrestling Friday against PSU...we'll know for sure as the week progresses.

Both ancient history...not right minimizing what this guy's accomplished.
Didn't see this as minimizing what he has done in any way. More a recognition of what Kadson and Morgan did. By the way I was super excited in both those matches but doesn't take away what Snyder has done which in my opinion he has the chance to surpass JB and Smith in the international arena. I don't think what fat old guy who couldn't start at Div II school says matters much anyways. That being said I am the guy who favors the underdog in most situations which helps explain my continuous rooting for Jimmy among others. While I am on this perfect examples why I don't like it when projecting scores using rankings , obviously kids at his level don't concede to kids ranked higher and mail it in when wrestling a higher ranked wrestler (many examples ,look at what Q did despite his seed or just recently when Sorenson wrestled Zain). Those guys epitomize what I lover about this sport and competition you need to bring your A game every match.
