I seem to recall him having something to do with McQueary being asked about an incident in the Lasch Building. He had seen some chatter about it on the social media at the time. Not sure, but that may have been the dynamite that blew this whole thing up.Wasn't he the poster that was a former law enforcement officer / involved in a horrific shooting ("involved" meaning being on the receiving-end)?
Wow that goes back quite a few years if I am recalling that correctly

He's still around, but doesn't post on this site.
I actually was in a car with him and one other person @ 5 years ago (could have been longer).

Yes, he was a Baltimore cop that was shot and seriously injured.
Yes, he did play a role in the JS investigation -- he sent the email that ultimately lead to the OAG contacting MM.
Thinking more about it, that car ride was more than 5 years ago, as JoePa was still the coach at the time of the ride.
His real name is out there but I won't mention it. As I recall, he was the one who sent the email to authorities regarding the contents of a chat room discussion at FOS which involved the '01 shower incident. Mike McQ may have been one of the chatters though I'm not certain.I seem to recall him having something to do with McQueary being asked about an incident in the Lasch Building. I miss Bernie moreI wish he were still active on the board. Another good poster with views to share.

Views? He had one view, bash Paterno.I wish he were still active on the board. Another good poster with views to share.
Cedar Cliff grad. Big wrestling fan, as well as football.Howard Stern's wife posted on the McAndrew board soon after his injury. I think he lived in southern York county. Met him at the Big 33 game one summer, probably like 2004.
I seem to remember him criticizing Paterno for not have doing more. The irony of a police officer hearing MM's story and sitting on it for all those years.
No one is a bigger fan of Joe - for over 40 years - and what he did for Penn State football, Penn State University, and the state of Pennsylvania than me. What Joe did and how he did it was incredible and we all need to recognize and appreciate his accomplishments. Be ut if Howard Stern felt Joe stayed on too long and the program needed to modernized, in all fairness, he was right. I believe he also began criticizing Penn State's recruiting efforts beginning in 2000. Again, and let's be honest, there was a pretty significant decline after the 1999 season and the wins/losses support his opinion..Very sorry to hear that he was injured in the line of duty and genuinely hope he is doing better. But as a poster on this board, he was a real jerk. Unless every post you made was uber-critical of Paterno and called for a total blowing up of the football program, he and another poster ruined every thread with their incessant "all is well". There was no room for debate or discussion. Was not sad to see him leave the board but sure hope his on duty injury was not the cause of it.
Whether or not Joe stayed too long is a matter of opinion -- and perhaps even subject to debate (though not one in which I have any interest in participating, thank you).No one is a bigger fan of Joe - for over 40 years - and what he did for Penn State football, Penn State University, and the state of Pennsylvania than me. What about Marsh Creek as well? Did he have any role?Yes, he was a Baltimore cop that was shot and seriously injured.

The message that purportedly arrived the day after Tommy Boy's coronation? Wonder if he has any connection to an assistant DA's (at the time) husband? IMO this was all a well planned exercise.

I seem to recall that as well. maybe someone can clarify.
and just out of curiosity, is there a practical reason we're not using his real name?
I don't recall his name offhand, but we all have seen it and know it. My reference to the Asst. DA's husband is also known to many.I seem to recall that as well. maybe someone can clarify.

I'm sure many of you have heard the story that serves as proof of the existence of God or a "Prime Mover?" You know the challenge of taking an alarm clock apart and putting the pieces in a bag and shaking it for eternity. Will the pieces ever fall into place and recreate a working device? Seemingly no and so how does one explain the universe without a Prime Mover?
Well, look at all the "working parts" of the Sandusky Case? I don't believe much happened by chance. Everything was orchestrated right down to the "anonymous" email.
Does anyone believe the reference to anal rape in the GJP was an honest interpretation of what MM testified to?Seems Eshbach actually said that with a straight face recently. She is despicable as well.

I know his name. it is public information. just trying to gauge if there us a specific reason we aren't using it.
LOL, Respond if anyone here was on MCE's PSU football mailing/newsletter. That is real old school stuff!
If anyone really wants to pursue a conspiracy theory (every once in a while some on this board are accused of loving a good conspiracy theory), someone in state government told me quite a while ago that one of the first things Corbett did early in his term was appoint this poster's relative, brother I believe, to a post at a PA university. I don't know if it is true, or even relevant to anything, but I found it to be oddly specific.I know his name. it is public information. just trying to gauge if there us a specific reason we aren't using it.
I also know he had a connection to the Philly DAs office, or a couple connected to this case.
There is little doubt the timing of his "tip" coincided with Corbett securing the Governor election, and started the ball rolling on crushing Spanier and PSU . . .

Law Enforcement is a pretty solid fraternity. My guess is that information that may have been discussed here was passed on to someone with the proper "connection." The timing of the email could not have been coincidence.
