do the "right thing" and hire him as their head coach?

He is clearly their best candidate to recruit western PA and guide them back to "greatness"

I dont think so. After the Nardooozie experiment fails, would think Pitt goes after a coach with a strong O background. Maybe a MAC coach, talented OC, or even Joe Mo.

The way they are playing defense against the Aggies, it won t be long.

Maybe they bring Canada back as head coach.

Unfortunately if Narduzzi would leave this year JoMo would be a good hire for them.

Since he is doing such a great job of coaching up the UCLA defense, I'm sure he will be a hot
head coaching prospect after this year. Or he will be sitting on a barstool in Johnstown.
I'm betting on the latter.

If our offense continues on the same trajectory, the Pitt job will be beneath JoMo. He did well to sit tight for a while.

Actually, more likely somewhere around Nevillewood.

No argument here, although not a lower tier one like Pitt. Moorhead is pricing himself out of the market as far as Pitt goes. Someone is going to pay that dude. Pitt football can keep Nardouchie and rot.

He'll be high-priced if PSU goes to the CFP and puts up huge points. If PSU disappoints his stock will drop pretty far

Like Hell. The offense will score. He will see to that. The man is a savant. We're lucky to have him. If this team fails, it will be because of shortcomings elsewhere.

Hey Walter, how's that Madame Prezzy thingy going?

Deep down Tom Bradley still bleeds blue and white. I would love for him to come back to PSU in some capacity.
He loved it so much that he didn't even live in State College. There is a reason he live in Pittsburgh and it wasn't because he bleed blue and white. It was simply a good job for him. I think be way overestimate his love for Penn State. The only way he would return is to be the head coach and we all know that is not happening.

It's amazing that we see the great three in any thread that mentions the past regime. No matter whether he should have left earlier or not, 409 wins is an amazing accomplishment. Talk about needing to let it go. I have never seen anything so small in my life.

What does that have to do with Tom Bradley??

When was the last time a D coordinator was fired by one school and hired as head coach of another school?

Several years ago there was a discussion here about Bradley's potential to be Joe's successor. Someone cryptically commented Scrap would never get the position because of something in his personal life. True or not, I don't know. There's no way of knowing on a message board.

Almost everything in your post is wrong. Trust me.

There aren't a whole lot of single head coaches of major D1 football programs. Are there any? It is what it is.

If Scrap wants to be a HC, he'll probably do it at a small school or FCS program like RMU or Duquesne given his ties to Pittsburgh. His window is probably past to take over a P5 program but I've never been sold on a head coaching job being his best fit.

If you actually read my post, I said nothing about coaching, I said in some capacity. There are others who were players and coaches, who now have different jobs within the program or the university.
I have met and talked to Coach Bradley several times and he always spoke of his love for the university, the football program and Coach Paterno.
