It's absolutely time to move on. Which is why most of us real fans stick to the pay board. This board is an embarrassment and starts at the top with the ringleader of the joe bots Tom McAndrew. He cares more about Joe, who is long dead btw, than penn state footbsll. Which is why we are here. Scumbags like Anthony Lubrano and other "old guard" trustees will rile up the old guard of our fanbase and halt any kind of progress in moving forward. This portion of our fanbase is a joke. The country laughs at us Bc of this portion of the fanbase. The "joe bots". They think all of the fanbase is like this. So good job you scumbags. Nice job Tom McAndrew. You're idol is gone. He'd slap you silly for half the crap posted on your board.
Pretty amusing. Normally you restrict your crazy posts to the Lions Den. Not sure what caused you to want to prove your lunacy to a wider audience, but since you did, and since you mentioned me, I'll actually respond.
First, you have no clue why some folks only post in the Lions Den, some only post on this board, and some routinely post on both. To claim that you speak for the real fans, or that you know why folks post on certain boards, pretty much proves from the outset that your analytical skills are severely lacking.
You claim that this board is an embarrassment. I presume that's in comparison to the Lions Den. Interestingly, I'd say the Lions Den went more off the deep end, in terms of overreacting to a few coaching staff changes, a few football players transferring, and the annual angst of the end of the recruiting cycle, than did this board, but hey, you're the real fan so this board is an embarrassment. That makes perfect sense.
Then you claim I'm a ringleader of the JoeBots. You also claim I care more about JoePa than I do about PSU football. That's all kind of amusing to me. It may be a revelation to you, but most of the people I know, as well as myself, have the ability to care about a lot of things, and don't find that caring for any single thing automatically diminishes our caring for another thing. This might be a challenge for you to comprehend, but you might want to look into it.
I won't repeat the term you used in describing trustee Lubrano. Anyone that resorts to using that type of description in a public forum gets very little respect from me. It's rather amusing that you lump trustee Lubrano in with other "old guard" trustees. Apparently these issues are somewhat complicated to you, but the common usage of "old guard" trustees is those that were on the board on Nov. 2011. Since Anthony was not elected to the BOT until July 1, 2012, and he ran in opposition to many of the actions taken by the "old guard" trustees, your characterization is rather amusing. Lastly, in my opinion trustee Lubrano has done more to assist the PSU community to move forward than has any of the old guard trustees. Their approach is to act as if nothing unusual happened on the BOT, except perhaps their method of communication to JoePa on Nov. 9, 2011, and that any thoughts otherwise prevent PSU from moving forward. Trustee Lubrano has indicated that the community can't move forward unless you deal with the elephant in the room, which is pretty much re-examining what the BOT did in Nov. 2011, and in the months following that.
You also feel a portion of the PSU fanbase is a joke. Unlike you, I've never characterized any portion of the PSU fanbase as a joke, but then again, you're a real fan, so why should I question your statements.
You claim that the country laughs at us because of this portion of the fanbase. First, I don't think your characterization of the country is all that accurate. And for that fraction of the country that does laugh at those members of the PSU fanbase that are seeking the truth at what went on with JS, the Second Mile, the State Agencies, and with PSU, I don't spend a second worrying about or caring about their opinion.
Then you go from stating that a portion of the fanbase is a joke to using the same term to describe them that you used to describe trustee Lubrano. Believe what you want, but you've pretty much lost any credibility with me if that's how you describe a large body of PSU fans.
Lastly, you indicated that JoePa would slap me silly for half the crap that is posted on this board. I'm not sure who appointed you as the spokesperson for JoePa or for his estate. I take far more seriously the words of members of his estate, who have told me personally how they appreciate this board, and how it deals with these issues. But again, you're the real fan, so why would I question your ramblings over the statements from members of the Paterno family.
