Scoring record will be tough to break by any team due to changes in scoring. It used to be NCAA was scored as a 64 man bracket so a win followed by a bye was an extra advancement point, which is on longer true. Plus on the #32 and #33 seed have an extra match to score bonus points. That puts may team these days around 10 points extra they would need to score to break the team scoring record.

4 champs, 8 AAs and 150 plus points? Shit like that isn't generally produced by HR faithful except when hope is highest, the first couple weeks of April. You are fertilizing the corn too early.

BTW, in the future when we take a historical look at this team, it could very well be one that had 8 national champs on it if not more. most with multiple titles and could even have at the least a 5 timer, 4 timer, 3 timer and a few 2 timers. That's just incredible to think about.

The probability aspect of your proposed possibility? It could happen. I bought a MegaMillions ticket for Friday. I think the probability of my ticket winning is higher than the probability of Iowa having 4 champs, 8 AAs and scoring 150 plus points this year.

Ok, back from my 24 hr. ban. Apologies. No excuse for the horrific error I made. The ban didn't seem harsh enough so I went ahead and pepper sprayed myself so I got the point. Now back to the discussion..

What did you find most HR like in my post? Was it the 8 champs? Seems crazy but there's already 4 on the team now. I feel very good Kerk will win a title if not more... that's 5. I also feel good Levi and SVN win at least one title...that's 7. So to hit the 8, one of Howard, Beau or Facundo needs to get one. I don't think it's too outlandish to see that happening. I think of the things I said in the post, getting a 5 timer is probably the least likely to happen. I'm not betting against it tho.

Btw, the discussion turned to breaking the nationals scoring record but I wasn't saying this team would do it. My initial post was saying that this PSU team could end up being CAELS best (and with a healthy Howard I think it definitely could be)...that they have a shot at the PSU scoring record at Nationals not the all-time me record. To do it, getting bonus points will be key.
