Listen to Steve Jones and Jack Ham I guess. That's what I do when the game is on anyway. With the tv delay you know what the result of the play will be before it happens on tv.

Seems logical to carry the Presidential speech on the primary Fox News channel or the Fox Business channel.

Are you kidding me? They scheduled a speech for Thursday night? What moron would schedule a speech on the very first night of college football? With both PSU and Pitt playing that night they may have just turned the state deep red instead of purple.

There are very few people in the US who can watch Biden read/speak longer than about 5 minutes.
The reading will probably be on the news and business channel.

Not even democrats want to hear this alzheimers patient let alone on the first night of college football. Maybe he can tell us how fair taking money from non-college grads to pay for the debts of those with greater means is? Or maybe he can tell us that despite meeting the historical definition of recession that we're not in a recession and no matter how much you are paying at grocery store that there is no inflation?

On a political note......just the other day I said I couldn't imagine being more disappointed in our president.....guess I was wrong.
I heard that his next speech is scheduled on Super Bowl Sunday at 6:00 p.m.
He will be speaking from Independence Hall. And since he campaigned on reuniting the country and lowering the temperature he will go on and on about how freedom is under attack by ultra MAGA semi fascists and only his draconian edicts can save democracy!
I guess being called a fascist in 2022 is replacing being called a racist. I wonder how many of these dolts who use that term even know what fascism is, or even studied its application under such regimes as Mussolini's Italy. When terms like fascist and racist are used to denigrate everyone and everything, it eventually loses it effect.
This won't be much of a problem for Penn State fans. Geriatric people with dementia (or Senate candidates with brain damage) aren't capable of speaking for more than a few minutes. We won't miss much of the game.

I am going to guess it is a mad scramble right now because it is the Fox big opening game. Gus, Klatt, and Jenny. They surely aren't going to say let's just wait until Biden is done talking.
I agree. There are plenty of options to watch the address if you want to. I say, show the damn game!
1) You don't have to be a doctor to see that Biden has alzheimers. I'm certain that even you know it's true even with the msm editing away from most of his obvious brain problems.
2) Paying off student loans will hurt most of those people in life. It teaches them to accept greater debt, don't worry about RoI, and someone will bail you out. What could be more privileged?
3) Someone is paying for that half a trillion dollars. Hint, it's all of us 70 million taxpayers. Do the math, democrats are stealing thousands of dollars from you, me, the plumber, every truck driver, people who are struggling while we have RECORD INFLATION and a RECESSION that they redefined not to call it a recession.
A) The correct person to pay for the debt is the person that supposedly is college educated and knowingly entered the legal agreement to pay back the loan.
B) But if democrats don't want that responsible person to pay, then go to the universities that created the debt. There is over $700 BILLION in US university endowments just sitting there. Charge these schools a one time 50% tax on their endowments and most of your bailout is paid for by those that you think scammed kids into loans for degrees with bad ROI. Bonus impact, universities are put on notice that clown studies aren't going to be subsidized and majors better have a return on investment or we're going to raid your money to pay for it.
4) Democrats are forcing a group that on average has lesser means to pay for the debts of those that on average have greater means. This is Robinhood in Reverse. Stealing from the poor and middle class to give to those who will have more. There is no way to spin that as fair or make sense in any way. Do democrats just want to demoralize the lower and middle class on top of the record inflation that is driving tens of millions of Americans into poverty?
5) Why are you deflecting by conflating other government bailouts with student loan forgiveness? Other than your liberal media has told you to say this and you arent allowed to have your own independent thoughts, it is because you know what democrats are doing is wrong. Also, PPP loans were necessary because Democrat governors forced small businesses to shut down for months. Nearly 40% of small businesses were killed off for good by democrat governors' shut downs. You know who won with democrat governors' extended shut downs? Mega corporations. They took the market share of those 40% of small businesses that shut their doors forever. CEOs making billions were the biggest beneficiaries of democrat policies. PPP loans limited it to only 40% of small businesses dying off and yes, they were full of fraud, but that is because big government was running it. But how does any of that justify democrats stealing money from the less wealthy to pay for student loans of those with on average greater earnings potential? It doesn't and you 100% know that.

If that happens, could they put the game on BTN while speech is going on, then switch back to Fox when over? I don't know what time the speech is supposed to start, but it looks like Minnesota is schedule for BTN at 9.

Record the game. Sync the recording to the radio broadcast and watch the recording and listen to the broadcast. Hopefully the biggest aggravation you will have is the multiple times you will hear that the Penn State offense is in the Delgrosso Red Zone.
