Obviously we are looking for more wins this season, but it is pretty amazing to look at what has happened with the football program since 2012. The program was supposed to be dead, yet they went 22-15 the last three seasons. 2015 was supposed to be the last season of the four-year bowl ban, yet they went to and won a bowl game last year (in thrilling fashion). There were also thrilling wins against Michigan, Wisconsin, and UCF. The wins were rightfully restored, so the program deservedly boasts the winningest D-1 coach of all-time. Of course, we have seen the true culture of the program with the conduct of the players these last few years, on and off the field. There have been many great stories, like Mauti, Robinson, Ficken, and Urschel. And looking at 2015 and beyond, Franklin is recruiting unbelievably well. Pretty damn amazing. Makes me Penn State Proud.

I'm REALLY rooting for CJF and all the staff to start getting some big wins on the field. That will rocket them into ESPN's hype machine. Now that I think of it I'm not sure I want that to happen
ND will still get a share of great H.S. players to fill out the remainder of their class. But hopefully CJF can win the majority of the recruiting battles against ND in PA, NJ, MD, VA......
