I think action starts at 11:30 EST (Flo has the annoying habit of listing all their times CST).So as not to start another thread on the World Cup action, my posting of any comments will be here. I have fond memories of this competition from the mid-1980's when it was held most years at Centennial Hall on the campus of the University of Toledo. At the time, we lived in Maumee, OH and a couple years in Monroe, MI. It was NOT very well attended at that time.
Action starts in 20 minutes. Go Jason, Go Kyle, Go USA!
Thanks nerf, just looked at the schedule again. Probably won't see much of today's second match (vs China). It's starting at 11:00am EST.I think action starts at 11:30 EST (Flo has the annoying habit of listing all their times CST).
This USA Wrestling Preview says 10 CT:I think action starts at 11:30 EST (Flo has the annoying habit of listing all their times CST).
In the end, didn't matter. Yianni was outwrestled. That arm throw for the last four was impressive.Boy, was that exposure? Was lightening quick if it broke 90. Yianni down 6-3 with a minute left.
Might've been a 'correct throw' call. Yianni was kind of horsed around anyway, not much to complain about there. That Mongolian was good.Boy, was that exposure? Was lightening quick if it broke 90. Yianni down 6-3 with a minute left.
He looked a bit "NLWC" there w/ the ankle pick and the bow & arrow.JB with a tech in just about a min. What an absolute pleasure it has been to watch JB’s career. Such a talent and seems to be just as good of a person as he is a wrestler
I guess Mongolia had visa issues at 61 and 92--but the 97 forfeit was a surprise to the announcer, and seemingly, Snyder as well.Nate Jackson gets the forfeit at 92kg and then Kyle Snyder gets a forfeit at 97kg. Weird situation though because at 97kg the Mongolian took the mat but then didn’t wrestle at gave Snyder the forfeit win. Not sure why he didn’t wrestle especially since he came out to the center
