My guess is they're waiting for this dual to wrap before moving on the next round (USA Women vs. China)

ah good point. i didn't check when the last one was supposed to end, looks like they only allotted 80 minutes for the dual and then a 10 minute break. seems... ambitious.

It's not our A team, but the US women have yet to win a bout through 4 matches. Hopefully Miracle turns the tide.

Burkert looked completely disinterested in actually wrestling and Miracle has looked terrible aside from a 20 stretch where she actually tried to score.

And now a late flurry from her, to lose 6-4.

Anyone else having problems with the flo feed? Stopping and constantlly buffering. Any advice? (Other than not giving these pricks at flo another cent of my money>)
Flo problems? There is no such thing as a Flo problem. Watching Flo is simply watching Flo, a frozen screen with a buffer circle and a rare 3 or 4 seconds of choppy viewing.

65kg
Diakomihalis down 4-0, 30 seconds into the bout.
Diakomihalis gets a takedown, cuts into lead after 1-1/2 minutes..
OOB call gets white-paddled, no score.
End of 1.
Diakomihalis with a push-out, now down 4-3.
Mongolian gets the exposure, Yianni down 6-3. Half a period to go.
4 for the Mongolian, Diakomihalis loses 10-3.
Any mumbling of a possible Suoreme Court appeal?

Some tidbits from Xtream Arena:

Read through the thread quickly and most had been covered.
Rumor upon getting here this morning was that there was a "situation" last night at the meet and greet. Sounds like the entire IA city police force was there and then they cancelled the party. I was not there and haven't found out anything more. Iranian team was involved but that's all I know

Crowd is rather small (again) but we aren't exactly putting our best teams out there. Wrestling hurting wrestling again.

After the JB match, JB went to shake the coaches hand and the coach hung onto it for extended time and had his phone out with the rest of the team for selfies/photos. Looked like they were enjoying themselves.

Amit is a bright spot on the women's team.

Valencia is huge, had to be a tough cut for him.

Don't recall if there was even a scramble in Yannis match. He just didn't look the same.

Does anybody understand the scoring format? Seems odd that US women had 2 points without a win.

The US women won 2 matches. Elor and Guliford.

Would love to hear about what happened last night. I’m sure details will leak out

Jason Nolf with a 10-0 Tech over 2019 U23 World bronze medalist Giorgi Sulava.

Georgia has only scored three points in the first five matches.
Nolf was up 9-0. Georgia challenge no TD call, lost, and that ended the match 10-0 TF. Strange time to challenge.

I admit to not totally understanding FS rules. Why, during the one match, did they restart with in par terre positioning?

That was an ass kicking! I still don’t understand why most other nations are so out of shape. The US wins a bunch of matches just from pace. That heavyweight looked like he wanted to keel over and die on the mat. Toughest match was actually JB. He dug deep and pulled it out like he almost always does. I’m really interested to see who wins between Iran and the world team. The world team is solid top to bottom. Should be a great dual

Team winner is decided by matches won. If tied 5-5, then go to criteria:

5 points for fall/forfeit/disqualification
4 points for tf
3 points for decision
1 point if you score a point during the match, but lose

Not sure if you were there, but they (Jason Bryant?) announced it later in the afternoon.

What time does the US Men wrestle tomorrow?

Yep, I was there. Mens finals are scheduled for 6pm central.

1st match will be the US women vs Mongolia for bronze at 11AM central.
Then men's 3rd followed by women's championships.

The US women just got worked over good by Mongolia 7-3. Elor did not wrestle however. Most matches weren’t even close with Mongolia winning a few by tech
