Zahid has wrestled well all weekend. not a fan of the hair though. he messes with it the entire match.

I dunno--I think he jumped levels in terms of his size/power at 86kg--it looked obvious to me. He said as much in his interview as well. And I don't think I've seen any USA guys get to a gut as quick and reliably as he did this weekend--Dake included. DT has to be the favorite, for obvious reasons, but it will be interesting to see if he's closing the gap or not.Has Zahid jumped levels or was he just always really good? Even before his suspension he had great international results. He’s probably a Top 5 guy in the world at 86 kilos.
Eventually the torch will be passed, but I’m not sure it’s this year.
TL;DR version.I thinkDT is just a horrible match-upfor Zahid. Taylor’s baseline defense has gotten so good that he’s not going to give up anything easy and his scrambling is still better than anyones. He’s also now bigger and stronger than pretty much every 86kg with the best gas tank in the world. I feel like DT is the number 1 or 2 p4p wrestler in the world right now (Sadulaev) after his complete dismantling of Yazdani at worlds. Zahid should make things closer than last time but it would take the perfect storm for him to knock off David

Wow, so JS supports terrorists now?!?give me assad
IT WAS A FALSE FLAGWow, so JS supports terrorists now?!?
I was impressed the Iranian was able to escape that solid ankle pick of Jason in the first period. I still think Jason needs to focus more on shots from head/hand control rather than from open space. Top notch international wrestlers don't tend to get scored on from open space. As far as Snyder, he looked awesome. You could definitely see an eleven pound strength advantage with Ghasempour having weighed in at 92 kg. I think Snyder's move to NLWC has definitely paid dividends. He seems much more offensively oriented, and his pace is absolutely unreal for a man that size. I also liked seeing how tough Snyder was with Ghasempour. I don't think Kyle appreciated the couple times Ghasempour pushed on him after the whistle. I think Kyle was sending kind of a "big brother" message in the last few seconds of the match when he pushed Ghasempour out of bounds. It will be interesting to see a re-match if Ghasempour does decide to bulk up to 97 kg. I am also interested to see how Cox fares against Snyder if he permanently moves up to 97 kg. Considering how Ghasempour shut out Cox 2-0 at this year's World Championship, Kyle shutting out Ghasempour 5-0 is very impressive.I dunno--I think he jumped levels in terms of his size/power at 86kg--it looked obvious to me. On the flip side--man was Nolf's match last night a downer. It's so strange to see Jason Nolf struggle to set up offense. I think he will--and obviously, he is scoring points against most guys. But that was almost as surprising to me as watching JB take a loss.
Let's put all three Finesilver bothers out there.Odds of Iran coming improved with no Finesilvers on Team USA.
