Would a bulldozer package with Levis work on short yardage?

He’s a powerful kid. Still have that pass option since he’s a qb. Two te’s on wings, two wr’s out wide. One back. Move him in motion to get defense to adjust before snap. Let Levis pick his gap

Put Parsons in at FB on short yardage. Or give him the ball. Then you say to opposing defenses....

Really good point. Another thing Minn did better than PS yesterday.

He’s a tough runner from what little we’ve seen. I would definitely say this is more an exercise of what is fun to think about as a fan than what may be a great idea. With that said, watching Clifford twice curl up in a ball on a run inside the ten yard line pissed me off.

I have been saying for awhile and argued with people on this board that Clifford is soft runner. Why cant we have a package with Levis coming in on these situations. At least that might make the defense take pause in our rather exciting offense.

Would love to see but its not going to happen because we are not built to be a power football team by choice.

Not sure what might be prompting this discussion but PSU has been very good this year in short yardage situations. Very good. That said, sure, a bruiser like Levis should be great in those situations but if the plan would be for him to keep in every situation I doubt that's a great plan unless the line can blow people off the LOS consistently.

Bulldozer looks like a good idea, but got to remember to bring enough fuel for it for away games. Oh, and use the bye week effectively by preparing the bulldozer and making sure it starts and runs. Maybe the Levis would add some "working man" cachet? Might be part of an "alternate uniform!"
