Let us know when you do.Oh I know it is, I just find it humorous. Plus I haven’t commented on here in a long time. Thought I’d come back with some sarcasm.
I think @82bordeaux has bottles of wine older than you.1986 is the year I was born, but in my house that’s no excuse for missing nationals.

I'm pretty sure he has bottles of wine older than you too!I think @82bordeaux has bottles of wine older than you.
Well done.@HawkFan1986
Easy big guy, no reason to get defensive. It's just another one of their running jokes on here. Besides, in this instance, it's pretty easy to give some of it right back to them.
For example, you could remind them that Max Dean graduated high school the same year as Mark Hall. Yep, just one year after Kemerer and Eierman.
Or that Joe Lee is heading into like his 6th year in the PSU room and is a Sophomore.
And then there's Mason Manville. Pretty sure that he still has like 15 more years of eligibility.
You snuck in without paying? Sinner!1986 bout was awesome. I was in Jr. High. A couple friends and me climbed thru the open bathroom window at Rec Hall to watch because it was sold out. That place was electric that night!
Wait!!! is that Warner getting turned by Dean?? never saw it from this angle.
Thought I’d come back with some sarcasm.

My kingdom for a proper gif of Chris Farley’s last comment in this great scene
I bet I checked on hr the other day booooooooriiiiiiiing lol.Oh I know it is, I just find it humorous. Plus I haven’t commented on here in a long time. Thought I’d come back with some sarcasm.
Couldn't find it but this can tide you over until someone makes it:
Full ones no, empty ones yes.I think @82bordeaux has bottles of wine older than you.
Not all can be as witty, or have the fine sentence structure that you do District!I bet I checked on hr the other day booooooooriiiiiiiing lol
Aint gonna happen, this record is WAY under-appreciated in the sports world and we’ll never see it again.I think he sits...
Could you imagine the legacy if he ends up being a phenom?
2nd undefeated 4x champ ever coached by the first one..
The 159 is incredible. And maybe 75 is a little low but if someone went 100-0 wrestling a Big Ten Schedule with four Big Ten Tournament championships AND four NCAA Championships… I’d allow it. The thing is, though, that no one has.Aint gonna happen, this record is WAY under-appreciated in the sports world and we’ll never see it again.
For starters no one is gonna COME CLOSE to 159 matches.
75-O with 4 titles dont mean shit to me.
If you're to the point of saying 4 NCAA titles "dont mean shit" to you, I think your standards are slightly unreasonable.Aint gonna happen, this record is WAY under-appreciated in the sports world and we’ll never see it again.

Maybe so, but 4 good weekends is pale in comparison to 159-0.If you're to the point of saying 4 NCAA titles "dont mean shit" to you, I think your standards are slightly unreasonable.
How bout 5 NCAA’s?The 159 is incredible. And maybe 75 is a little low but if someone went 100-0 wrestling a Big Ten Schedule with four Big Ten Tournament championships AND four NCAA Championships… I’d allow it. The thing is, though, that no one has.
Steiber, Dake, Yanni, Spencer... It is extremely hard not to lose even a single match. Even with a vastly reduced career match count whomever goes undefeated, if it ever happens again will deserve it. It also won't make him the GOAT.Maybe so, but 4 good weekends is pale in comparison to 159-0.
Stieber has 4 titles but what if…….

I think slightly is a major understatement. If you're to the point of saying 4 NCAA titles "dont mean shit" to you, I think your standards are slightly unreasonable.
That’s a lot of pressure to put on a kid that hasn’t had a year on a college mat yet.I think he sits...
Could you imagine the legacy if he ends up being a phenom?

Carter gonna win 5 n pass Cael as greatest collegiate wrestlerHow bout 5 NCAA’s?
4 weekends?! Cael is the GOAT, but he didn't wrestle the BIG tournaments. Not saying he would have lost, but the BIG tournament is nothing to laugh at. So it's more like 8 weekends of really, really tough tournaments.Maybe so, but 4 good weekends is pale in comparison to 159-0.
Stieber has 4 titles but what if…….

With 4 undefeated seasons.Carter gonna win 5 n pass Cael as greatest collegiate wrestler
Why is it that Iowa fans complain about grammar? Lol.Not all can be as witty, or have the fine sentence structure that you do District!
Now onto important things. Does Levi start right away, or does he come out of redshirt midseason. In my opinion, there’s no way he isn’t in the lineup by March.
Staying healthy for 4 years is no easy feat either for any wrestler, with all of the strain put on every joint during each match and practice. That’s a lot of pressure to put on a kid that hasn’t had a year on a college mat yet.
I know y’all are eager to watch him go, and you should be, but damn, there’s a reason that’s only been done once. Wrestling is hard, winning a wrestling match is hard, winning an NCAA wrestling title is damn hard, winning four is incredible, winning four without ever losing might be the hardest thing to do in all of collegiate sports.
Doubtful that many fans think this is a reality... But when these guys set their goals I'm sure this is their dream. That’s a lot of pressure to put on a kid that hasn’t had a year on a college mat yet.

It's amazing how many "sure" things lose matches that no one sees coming.
Carter does not put up the lopsided victories like Cael did. I don't care if Carter wins 20 titles, I think Cael was a better wrestler.Carter gonna win 5 n pass Cael as greatest collegiate wrestler
Not saying Cael didn’t have tough competition but being undefeated also takes a little luck.. like who’s wrestling in ur weight(s) during that era.. it’s not if there will be another undefeated wrestler ever but when imo..Maybe so, but 4 good weekends is pale in comparison to 159-0.
Stieber has 4 titles but what if…….

I would say the opposite. 159-0 takes luck right out of it.Not saying Cael didn’t have tough competition but being undefeated also takes a little luck.. like who’s wrestling in ur weight(s) during that era.. it’s not if there will be another undefeated wrestler ever but when imo..
I mean to say Luck as in if David Taylor didn’t have a game Jenkins and Dake in his era he might have also been undefeated.. there might not be another 159-0(less matches these days) but as long as wrestling keeps going then there will be a day where another undefeated comes along.. just like there will be more future 4x champs..I would say the opposite. 159-0 takes luck right out of it.
I know what you meant, I just see it differently. Part of the reason you don't equate Cael's contemporaries with Jenkins or Dake is that Cael NEVER lost to them.I mean to say Luck as in if David Taylor didn’t have a game Jenkins and Dake in his era he might have also been undefeated.. there might not be another 159-0(less matches these days) but as long as wrestling keeps going then there will be a day where another undefeated comes along.. just like there will be more future 4x champs..
Some seem to have a tough time remembering Brandon Eggum, Vertus Jones, Brad Vering, Rob Rohn, Damion Hahn, Daniel Cormier, Andy Hovat and Jon Trenge were all pretty damn good.I know what you meant, I just see it differently. One day another undefeated will come along. Until then and maybe after then, GOAT.
