Wrestling on BTN TONIGHT (Friday)

It was an odd sequence for sure. If you go to the 5 min mark, both guys are just kind of hanging out, holding position. It sure looked like Kemerer thought the count was against Hall, as he seemed very confused when he looked back at the ref, then quickly gave up position.

At that point, he had already given up the 2 danger and then the 2 td. I'm not going to try and predict the outcome if the exposure never happens, but no way was he going to overcome a 6 point deficit against Hall...
confused or pissed.

No doubt Kemerer should be considered the preseason favorite to take it all, but the experience advantage hasn't worked so well with top wrestlers when going up against one of our Fr studs.

Zain/Stieber, Nolf/IMar, Cenzo/IMar ... these are just a few former champs who went down ... I don't have time to list all the AAs who lost to PSU Fr.

For me it comes down to CStar, is he next in a line of PSU super stars? If so, all transitive property rules should be ignored, and IMO Kemerer's experience will play only a small factor in their head-to-head.

Kemerer is very good, he'll need to be at his best IMO.

CStar has 2 (3 if you count Cenzo from YG years) guys with extensive live experience with Kem. I dont think Kem has much to go on to counter that. Advantage Starocci.

Kem said in an interview after that he thought the danger call was against Hall in that match, the lack of urgency and the look of surprise after confirm that. Still his fault for not being aware of the situation, but I totally believe him that he didn't know the count was against him.

Yeah. that was sort of my point. A year in the Penn State room is worth the experience most kids get from a year or more competing.

Obviously. Iowa has a good room too, but no room offers former national champion training partners like Nolf, Cenzo, Hall, Taylor, Bo and Zain. Did I forget anyone?

There’s a non-NCAA champ in the room that teched Jordan Burroughs. He’s pretty OK.
