Is Brooks wrestling in senior WTT's? He wrestled in the junior division at the US Open.

Nolf had a much better shot to make team at 70kg... He most likely can just not make the weight. It’s a 9 lb difference to 74kg. And “prepping for Olympics” wouldn’t make sense. He had a shot to make team this year, now his buck stops at final x IF he can beat IMAR at WTT, which is no easy task.

Curious to the seeding at 65kg.

Does Zain earn the 1 seed?

Or does Oliver earn the 1 - who lost + defaulted at USOpen ?

It’s important because I think Frank the Tank awaits at 3. Wrestling Frank is always a war.

Not sure, but has AngryFish been around since JO got embarrassed in Vegas? I kinda felt bad for the aging Doper on one of his last few chances to do something

Where will Nolf get seeded at 74 KG?

Sitting in Finals: Isaiah Martinez, Titan Mercury/Illinois RTC

Projected Seeds
  1. Tommy Gantt, Titan Mercury/Wolfpack WC
  2. Anthony Valencia, ASU Wrestling
  3. Logan Massa, Michigan RTC
  4. Richie Lewis, NYAC
  5. Brian Murphy, MYAC/NJRTC
  6. Dan Vallimont, NYAC/Penn RTC
  7. Joey Lavallee, Titan Mercury/Valley RTC
  8. Jared Frayer, Titan Mercury/Southeast RTC

hoping to see Seth Nevills and Michael Beard at Juniors. Im pretty sure Beard is qualified from his 2018 results, but not certain.

Yea, I'm going down with my son and staying with my daughter (not a lot of time to visit!)... Can't wait to see a ton of these matches.. starting Friday morning!

Where are you seeing registration for WTT. I don't see anyone yet listed on FLO's Arena link. Somewhere else?
I didn't see anything other than what @Str8DBLz posted above. Sorry--I was just questioning whether Cassar was registered and at 97Kg.

I think they penalize JO for dropping out.

I haven't heard anything about Cassar going to WTT. Hope he shows but no one who stays in the know has indicated he is going.

Perhaps Nolf felt those three extra pounds under 157 were too much, or perhaps he's positioning himself for the olympics, so might as well see where he measures against those guys. I'm excited that he's going up, though, we get to see him against a number of guys we've never seen him against. I think beating Burroughs is a big ask but I'd not be surprised to see him beat IMar, or anyone else at the trials at 74kg.

IMAR has been wrestling very well at 74kg... that will be a match!! I think Nolf is looking to cement himself as a 74kg (due to olympic weight) and has visions of replacing JB

Nolf is going to be undersized making this move so late. I'll be pleasantly surprised if he can already beat Imar. Suspect he will be a challenged by some of the other guys in the bracket as well. Think he needs a year to grow into the weight and train freestyle exclusively before we will see what Jason can really do.

Lots of intriguing matchups and new blood for Nolf. Really looking forward to how this bracket shakes out. Jason definitely adds a lot of intrigue.

I agree he's an underdog. A win would certainly not shock, but would be a surprise. Rematching IMAR and potentially meeting JB is a dream scenario for us wrestling nerds. Hoping it happens!

Finals are best of 3? Very brief review on Flo did not reveal the answer.

Disregard. Found the answer.
