Yeah, according to Flo Brooks is sitting into the finals?I still see Brooks facing the Challenge Tourney 1 seed in round 1 in the Default Pool. That cannot be correct. Plott probably just has a 1st round bye, though (and AB is waiting in the best of 3 finals).
Rolling right into the second match for Arujau. Except they just announced that they are delaying those matches (not enough time between matches?).Right now they have the 57kg round of 16 winners on deck on some mats, which doesn't seem right, so I imagine they'll stick other matches in front of those, RBY's among them.
So now Vito is up again on Mat 2, and walking around like he's going to wrestle. Rather than stick another match in there it appears they're going to just wait it out while both guys get the requisite rest.Right now they have the 57kg round of 16 winners on deck on some mats, which doesn't seem right, so I imagine they'll stick other matches in front of those, RBY's among them.
Perks of being a returning silver world medalist....Yeah, according to Flo Brooks is sitting into the finals?
Actually perks of winning the US Open. Juniors don't get that luxuryPerks of being a returning silver world medalist....
Oh right. Whatever it is, it means he’s pretty good.Actually perks of winning the US Open. Juniors don't get that luxury
I don't really see him being challenged much in this bracket. Remind me--who's waiting in the finals?
Kerk was in Russia and tweaked his knee again.I believe he reaggravated his knee injury at a tourney this past winter. Was it Schultz? My guess is he's rehabbing from surgery, but it's only a guess. No idea on Cass and Seth though.
Thank you. Could not remember. Malik is getting better--but I don't see that matchup as favorable.Malik Heinselman won the open.
As a wrestling fan, really hoping it's just some bad luck, and not something that follows him through his career.Kerk was in Russia and tweaked his knee again.
The brackets are all messed up at this point and we're supposed to be 6 minutes from start time. Disappointing. Brooks will not wrestle the challenge tournament
Berge is out of junior eligibility. Maybe he enters U23s?
Looks like some of the U23 entries are listed here...

Verk on deck on Mat 3
Down goes RaVaugn Perkins... wow.
I Kinda like it. But it does remind me of the tail end of a closing time scrap outside the Slovak club.Verk wins. He got a 2 point throw and two push outs. Greco continues to be a strange unknown beast to me.

I wonder how much Franklin Gomez recently taking Burroughs to the wire (JB scored winning takedown with no more than 1-2 seconds on the clock) factored into Nolf moving up now. I believe Gomez is a NLWC guy so no doubt that Nolf has spent countless hours rolling with him. No matter what did/didn't go into the decision, I think moving up ASAP better prepares Nolf for the Olympic Trials next year, which most likely is a much bigger goal than the Worlds this year.
Wittlake's good, but we're gonna be OK there.
Manville is just an HombreMason with a TF
OSU, that makes sense (predictable rather).Whittlake is dropping to 165. I think Cenzo will destroy him
What gives with this? Smith seemed to be warming to the calories in = calories out idea for half the season, the I guess injuries made him regress.OSU, that makes sense (predictable rather).
