For those who refuse to give them hits, and I GET THAT, the article is about the length of the games and how it's gotten out of hand and they need to shorten the games now. If more is needed I can simply cut and paste entire article.

Notice how teams that elongate games, like the pirate in the paloose, DON'T want these marathons shortened.

One easy way to shorten games...less commercials.

There's also absolutely no need for a booth review to last more than 90 seconds, but sometimes they last up to 5 minutes
Totally agree. The stoppage is killing the quality of the product. Thank God for DVR.

It's really simple. Allow each team only 1 review per half otherwise each and every call on field stands as called. Of course, all scoring calls reviewed in addition to one review.

I think reduce time outs to 2 par half is an idea.

Also, I agree with the less in game commercials, and reduce commercial breaks to 60 seconds during halves.

They have to do SOMETHING: It may not be a 100 percent agreement, but it IS a consensus now and they have support at the top.

Just make the clock re-start and run rules the same as the NFL. Out of bounds, 1st downs, etc. NFL games could not be more TV/corporate driven and almost always finish in exactly 3 hours.

I like the college game so much better but the rose bowl took forever....

This topic - on a broader scale - does a wonderful job of highlighting the obliviousness, the ignorance, and (probably fair to say) the stupidity of the majority of the sports fandom demographic

[That said, "Credit where Credit is due" to Interrobang]

I don't watch any games but ours, and when ours is on, I am not bothered the length. For the most part, unless we are losing badly, the time seems to fly by. It's an enjoyable diversion.
