The blocking is soooooo bad. Allar is still actively running the ball doing all the work and there’s white shirts standing around looking for someone to block as if there’s not 4 defenders all over Allar.
Penn State goes for it on fourth and four in Minnesota territory and Drew Allar takes a sack that will give Minnesota field position near midfield. Have to find a way to get that ball away.
Just when I was about to complain about them not using Drew to just line up under center to run the sneak on short yardage downs under a yard they finally come out and run it. I am not a fan of running out of shotgun on short yardage downs that take a while to develop in the backfield
Yea, I miss the T-formation from last year in short yardage, especially near the goal line. This year we even have better horses to run it, but the new OC did not adopt it.
