What similarity to the Democratic Party of John Fitzgerald Kennedy could you find in today’s Democrats? It’s safe to say JFK would be scratching his head in bewilderment even at the mention of trans men in women’s sports. He would more likely be standing proudly beside RFK Jr when his nephew took the oath of office for US Secretary of Health and Human Services.

The Democrats have come the proverbial “long way, baby,” but backwards. As recently as 2011 Barack Obama was pledging to eliminate government waste. Now they are the defenders of government waste at all costs to the extent of hating someone who is actually doing it (despite much of the public, naturally enough, wanting to eliminate that waste).

They focus their hatred on Elon Musk because he, as I noted in an earlier post, is an apostate (a very recent one, actually). They are therefore highly threatened by Musk who, it goes without saying, is also a lot smarter and accomplished than literally anyone in politics and more akin to Thomas Edison or Benjamin Franklin, in other words people of extraordinary historical genius. (They also lambaste him for being unelected, as if they never heard of Harry Hopkins, also unelected and considered FDR’s closest partner during the New Deal.)

There’s a rather comic overtone to the whole thing, especially since a number of overly-zealous biased judges, none of them of particular judicial renown, are attempting to prevent him and the president he serves from accomplishing that president’s obviously legal aims.

I root againt the Ferraris, Suriano, Steve Poulin, Moccas and BAsset for various reasons.

Basset might get me in trouble on this board but whatever. I am not a fan. I wont mind losing him. I still want Jax and or Blaze at whatever weights they end up.

So Francis the Merciful just delivered himself of a letter to American bishops on the subject of border security and immigration that rebukes the new American administration for being such meanies on the issue. First link.

The letter is replete with the dishonesty, hypocrisy, and shallow sugary nonsense, dressed up as moral teaching, that we've come to expect from The Merciful One.

In response, Tom Homan, a practicing Catholic, bluntly told the Pope to focus on fixing his own broken Church before mucking around in American politics. Second link.

Counting the days...though realistically it could be years...until the end of what has been the most screwed-up and destructive pontificate in the history of the Catholic Church, which is quite an accomplishment given some of the competition.

What Franklin/Penn State has desperately needed is a leader with confidence in the big games/big stage. Knowles has beaten Oregon, ND, Texas. As good as Penn State’s front 7 have been, the DB/safety play in the big games have been shaky. We need to get the winning attitude— Knowles might get be the guy for that! Knowles will also bring a lot of inside info on our biggest nemesis Ohio St. I feel good for 2025

It's hilarious how often Cheeto Hitler emulates Tricky Dick in trying to get away with unconstitutional or illegal chicanery. Offering to dismiss the criminal complaint against New York Mayor Eric Adams in exchange for Adams "working with Trump" on immigration issues is just the latest example. Thus far, seven attorneys from the SDNY have resigned rather than file a motion to dismiss charges against Adams. Wonder how many U.S. attorneys Cheeto and his henchman Nosferatu (aka Emil Bove) will have to go through to find their own Robert Bork.

And 68 people are dead as a result. Trump is responsible for that air crash. He is responsible for both air traffic control in and around Reagan National Airport, and for ensuring that Army Black Hawk helicopters are not flying around in approach lanes to that airport (and other airports). Get it together, old codger.

Let me sum this up....with regard to active Trump policies, the American people are saying, "Shit or get the hell off the pot".
