Inside Jokes Explained (New users read this)

Not sure about the necessity of the thread, but as a few on another thread were asking about a few inside jokes, I thought I’d start a thread about some of the most popular so everyone is in the know...

-“insert name” IS BEATING NICO IN THE ROOM!...excessive rumors about mainly Suriano beating Nico in the room led to “everyone” beating Nico in the room. Apparently these were just ‘spykerisms’

-What mat are Carton and Pletcher on?...As someone else noted, Spyker may have been the starter on this as it was asked anout what mat these 2 were wrestling on repeatedly during last years NCAA tournament.

-George’s Barbershop references- the announcers of an early season away dual against Clarion repeatedly plugged “George’s Barbershop” and urged listeners to go in for a haircut and a shave.

Mike Evans is not impressed!...again noted earlier in another thread, Evans claimed that he was not impressed by Taylor and Dake during the season that he shared a weight class with them. It was blown up by slush’s fairly regular poll posts that were pretty funny.

-Raptor...apparently that’s Cassar’s nickname.

-illegal fist to the back...in a dual with Nebraska, the student U announcers were clueless and called for an “illegal fist to the back” at one pont during the Alton match. Video was recently posted of the Ruth match from the same dual, definitely worth a watch!

I know there are plenty more, but I figure this is a good start...feel free to add on, explain further, or correct any of my possible errors.

Can’t wait for the season to start!

WE ARE!

DOD paid Reuters for "Large Scale Social Disruption"

how do we know? It is right on the ****ing invoice.

Also, no conversation regarding "throwing gold bars off the Titanic". O'Keif got somebody to tell him that the Biden admin quietly gave out $ 20 billion to NGOs in the last few days of the administration. These NGOs are often run by former politicians and have full discretion on giving out that award money to their "cause". There is no accountability or audit. I've seen estimates that say only about 20% of the money ends up going to the cause. In the case of climate change, it simply goes to paying off activists and paying scientists/universities for "studies". If the "study" doesn't come back inn support of climate change, you no longer get a grant from the NGO.

I don't care if Trump accomplishes anything else. If he kills these NGOs, and anything like them moving forward, he'll be the best president since Reagan.

Trump to reinstate service members discharged for not getting COVID-19 vaccine

Good. Correcting yet another mistake by the authoritarian left.

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/tr...mbers-discharged-not-getting-covid-19-vaccine

President Donald Trump will sign an executive order to reinstate service members booted from the military for declining to get COVID-19 vaccine jabs, according to the White House.

"The Executive Order directs the Secretary of Defense to reinstate all members of the military (active and reserve) who were discharged for refusing the COVID vaccine and who request to be reinstated," according to the White House fact sheet.

The service members who are reinstated will be restored to their prior rank, and will be provided back pay and benefits, according to the fact sheet.

Dems Wallow in Denial, Haven't Learned a Thing

Here's an article for @LafayetteBear and @PaoliLion .

Dems wallow in denial and do the dumbest stuff – proving they haven’t learned a thing from Trump’s win

https://nypost.com/2025/02/04/opini...things-its-clear-they-havent-learned-a-thing/

It’s been four months since Donald Trump and Republicans swept the 2024 elections — and Democrats haven’t learned a thing.

Here are three snapshots of a party wallowing in denial: When the eight candidates running to head the Democratic National Committee were asked who among them believed that “racism and misogyny” were factors in Kamala Harris’ defeat, all eight raised their hands.

When congressional Dems gathered outside the headquarters of the rogue USAID agency that Trump plans to shrink or close, one of their lead speakers was the antisemitic terror defender and America-hater Rep. Ilhan Omar.

Then there’s New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy, who said Saturday he was hiding an illegal immigrant in his house and challenged ICE, saying “good luck to the feds coming in to try to get her.”

I’ve long believed Trump has a gift for driving his opponents over the edge.

Sputtering mad over his style and success, they say and do the dumbest things, which reveals them to be the real crazies.

Democrats call for violence

Watch: Hakeem Jeffries Calls for People to 'Fight' Trump's Agenda 'in the Streets'

WORDS MATTER!!!

https://townhall.com/tipsheet/rebec...effries-line-on-fight-in-the-streets-n2651459

Not long after the remarks were trending, the White House Office of Communications send out a release, "Will House Minority Leader Jeffries Apologize to the American People?"

As the release read in part, "Will Minority Leader Jeffries apologize for this disgusting threat? Or will he double down on the same calls for violence that have plagued the country for years?"

Many chiming in, including but not limited to those who have shared the Rapid Response 47 clip, have called out Jeffries, with Alex Bruesewitz tagging Jeffries and Robby Starbuck slamming "Extremely irresponsible language."
