It's nice that we have two really good options, but I think it's clear who the starter should be. Shak goes out and pins pretty much every kid he wrestles at this point.

I am sure this will be hard but not hardest decision Cael has had but bonus point potential seems to be logical choice....

These guys don't make it easy. They both have done what they needed to do to make a claim on the job. That said at some point a decision will need to be made. If I was making the call it would be Shak. The scoring potential he brings to both B1Gs and Nationals is too much to ignore. I would wrestle Shak on Friday against the Goofers, and then let Raptor take the mat to wrap up his dual season in front of family and friends on Sunday at Rutgers.

There is no debate. Cassar is very good, but he isn’t going to give you bonus points. Guys that Cassar majors, Shak pins. Those extra points will be huge at nationals.
