Black is decent. Nick beat him twice last year. However, I believe it was Black who defeated Nick two years ago at B1G’s for a shot at qualifying for NCAA’s (but I’m not 100% sure on that).

Where is he this year? Shouldn't he be a senior? What about Whitford? I don't remember him ever stepping on mat for Michigan

Black made R12 as a RS Soph but got hurt last season and I believe he gave up wrestling after that.

Regarding Brooks Black:

"He doesn't have a shot." - Cael Sanderson

Lots of people thought Sanderson meant Black metaphorically didn't have a shot.

More likely, Coach Sanderson meant Black literally didn't have an offensive shot.

Black never did pan out as high as he was expected to. I think he is hurt this year. Whit ford always had grade troubles in college. He was a heck of a talent, but it never happened for him in college.

Cox was 3 time champ and has silver medal in Olympics and World Championships. Not sure about being in second place.
Sure Pish was just talking about NCAA, since that is what the recruiting rankings are for. For that purpose, 1-4-1-1 will in my book be behind 5-1-1-1 (I am assuming Zain doesn't tear his own arm out of socket) will be ahead due to the # of bonus points.

I was strictly talking college. Plus Zain will probably get 2 Hodges. If IMAR wins, I put him over Cox but not over Zain. Even though a IMAR would be 1, 1, 2, 1. I still feel Zains level of dominance squeaks him ahead.

All great careers.

This is interesting because Coon DNP as a freshman, and Tomasello never finished below 3rd. Then again, Coon lost to Gwiz by 1 pt twice at nationals, and in this scenario would've beaten Snyder.

Nato: 1-3-3-? (presumably top 3, possible 2x champ)
Coon: DNP-2-3-? (top 2, possible champ over Snyder)[/QUOTE]

If he beats Kyle Snyder for NCAA title that gets bonus points for me. Anyone else you’re right with Nato

I think when you recruit a guy you are thinking of points he will score for your team. I would tend to rank a guy off of team points scored at the NCAA tournament because if I had a crystal ball that is who I would want in this current class.
