At least it's a pic of Gilman finishing 2nd.
Certainly no shame in being the 2nd best in the world at anything really. Props to his finals opponent. Very skilled young man.
He did pin Quentin Wright once

Great run by TG, excited to watch him the next few years in freestyle
might be just me, but I would rather have any world medal than any NCAA medal.
Nice run by Gilman since March. Congrats. I'll have to check at some of his matchs. I suspect he's too hard of a nail for a lot of these guys (gas tank as well).
Going to be an enduring mystery how Gilman can brain fart in a very important match against a guy not on his level, Cruz, and then run a streak like he just did against so many guys who most figured were a tier above.

How was it lame? He can't voice his opinion because why? That's what's wrong with the hurt. Everyone gets butt hurt over the littlest things. He stated how he felt and he has to apologize for it because a couple people got upset about it? Nope. Sorry.
If he doesn't he has fully embraced the dark side. Next thing to watch for is a trip to aruba.

DT's my boy, but he done effed up here.
Pretty proud of the way this board handled this situation. It was cut and dry bad sportsmanship on DTs part. On FLO people were jumping to his defense. There are no excuses here. DT is a grown up I feel it's in his best interest that the people who look up to him demand that he act like one. If he thinks J'den sucks he should prove it.
Three medals with most of our best yet to come. Cannot wait to see Zain in this tournament!
Im cool with what DT said. His blood is obviously still boiling from the contoversial loss. But there is no way he can congratulate Cox now without sounding fake. This will just make it sweeter when he breaks through to make the team next time
IMO great tactical match by Cruz. Basically the gist was keep it close early and not get into too deep of a hole. It gets late in a tight match things slow down. Cruz is pretty elite athletically and came out on top in a scramble to win it. Can happen to anyone. Most times it doesn't work out, but this time it did. Bad timing for Gilman.
Me too, for a different reason. Cox is already a bronze medalist. Those defending him from the higher standard needed to win gold are not doing him any favors.
IMO Taylor's sin was saying it himself, not letting coaches or a surrogate say it.
What does any of this have to do with J'den Cox? A wrestler whose name is synonymous with the team and coaches at PSU just acted like Justin Bieber on a bad day. That is the issue.
