No matter what happens tomorrow:

Nick Lee should lock up the #1 or #2 seed
Starocci should have the #1 or #2 seed.
Brooks should be top 4 or 5
And RBY should be top 3

looks like Berge will start before Joe Lee, but they'll be wrestling at the same time, so I'm going to cover Berge's match.

157 Consolation R3: Brady Berge vs. Caleb Licking (Neb)

Win this, and BB will secure a spot at Nationals

Per 1
Berge with a quick TD, 2-0. They go OOB. Licking is up and out after 30 sec, 2-1. Berge with a single, gets the other leg and trips him down for the TD, 4-1. Licking to his feet, and tripped back down OOB with 1:58 left. Licking gets the esc, 4-2. Berge in on a single leg on the edge, they scramble, and then OOB with 46 sec left. Berge in on a low single, and finishes for the TD, 6-2. End. RT @ 50 sec for Berge

Per 2
Blood stoppage for Licking. I missed who had choice, but they start in neutral. Berge in on a single, Licking does a split, they scramble, nothing. Not a lot of action. Berge drives in on a double and gets the TD, 8-2. End. RT @ 1:03 for Berge

Per 3
Berge takes bottom. Stalemate with 1:34 left. Berge to his feet, lifted and brought back down. Berge turns in, grabs the leg and gets a reversal, 10-2. RT had pretty much been eliminated, but now Berge is driving it back up. Penalty point against Licking makes it 11-2. With 1:04 in RT, it's a 12-2 major, and Berge is headed to NCAAs

Joe Lee up 2-0 after 1. Roughly a minute and a half riding time, too.

165 Consolation R3: Joe Lee vs. Gerritt Nijenhuis (Purdue)

Per 1
Missed it due to Berge's match, but Lee up 2-0, and has around 1:35 in RT

Per 2
Lee takes bottom. Lee up twice; tripped down the 1st time, and then OOB the 2nd time. Lee tries to turn in, nearly gets exposed, Nijenhuis locks a cradle, doesn't look good, and Lee gets pinned at 4:29.

Damn

Joe Lee had a nice first period, took down in the 2nd, and appeared to completely run out of gas. Got cradled and pinned. Strange match.

You know, Joe had a great ride in the first and when he took down I had a slight hesitation...

Buzzkill. Buzz kill. Buzz-kill.
One of those. Maybe all of them.
Still, we’re having a fantastic session!
