lol, I know you're a neophyte with the sport, but you're going to have to work a bit on picking up the lingo.
Also Olympic brackets are for all intents and purposes randomly drawn.
There are 4 seeded wrestlers per weight, but the seeding system is inherently flawed (not corrupt, just not good, though better than the old system). Everybody else gets random draws into the brackets.
That's how world silver medalist Gilman drew 2x world champ Uguev in round 1.
Me too. In a day and age where many broadcasters require the mute button, those two and their play-by-play announcer have been great. And, the fact that I'm sure what his name is might say even more.

Dake did what he needed to against a tough opponent who just wanted to keep it close, hand fight, and push the pressure toward the out of bounds. That strategy might work against a lot of guys but Dake is too savvy.

Nope. He didn't even attempt a shot in the whole 6 minutes. You 100% are not going to beat Dake if you don't attempt a single shot. He's just too good defensively.
Closer score than I expected but never in doubt. As usual, Dake’s defense was superb.
