I’ve never seen somebody manhandle Dake in the upper body like that.

For real, he looked tired! Completely manhandled by that dude.

It was everything in both matches. He stopped wrestling twice in match 1 for being poked in the eyes. He stopped in match 2 for I guess fingers. Him and Grey had to decide 3 times if they were pushing the button or not. He needed Cael and Casey and I’m not just saying that. That was the edge he needed.

Thank you. Gable is only 21 years old wow. I hate to see him leave real wrestling as he would have a chance to go down as an all time great and not just at HW. Especially with the two HW studs getting old. Hope he can at least win gold this year.

The guy he lost to (I think) is actually a Russian. I can see Dake wrestling him again down the road and beating him. That happened with another good Russian who beat him. But it ain't happening at this tournament

It is not entirely out of the question for Dake to go back up to 79kg if he does not medal.

Alabama's QB who hasn't started a game yet is approaching $1M. That said, not likely. Just depends if that's what he wants to do right now. Without NIL, there was little to no chance he's stays. Now, little to some chance?

Shock of the tournament for me, if I was betting on a gold for team USA it would have been Dake.

Not a ringing endorsement for the new Cornell head coach Mike Grey. Not only was Dake super unprepared, the opponent read Dake like a children’s book, but Grey looked lost in his corner SEVERAL times.
