2025 Big Ten Tournament thread

I’m sure the coaching staff will keep the fans updated on how bad the injury is and the truthful outlook on competing.

In other words we aren’t going to know sh!t about how bad it is and whether he can go until noon on March 20th, so there’s no use speculating.
are we done now until 5:30?

Man, that sucks. Especially when you consider that so much of what makes Barr great is his superior movement and athleticism. He just crumbled there at the end. DNP.

No Dr here, but this looks like hammy to me,

Yeah, looks like a severe hamstring cramp - once they happen, very difficult to make them go away quickly. Didn't look like he did anything that would tear the hamstring (nor did he twist his ankle or knee), but a full on cramping seizure hurts every bit as much and once they happen, you can't just make them go away.

That's 2 wrestlers Rogotzke has sent into concussion protocol this tournament (Cartagena-Walsh and now Bullock).
I haven't seen the Bullock injury. But I thought the pick-up and head dump that Bouzakis put on Van Dee last night was considerably worse than what Rogotzke did to Bullock. Yet Rogotzke was DQ'd while Bouzakis picked up the W via injury default.

Thought the same.

That was hard to watch. I didn’t even notice at first until he was in the corner and something seemed off. Had to rewind to see the initial limp, which didn’t seem too terrible when he came back to the restart. Obviously got worse from there. Reserve judgement, we’ll see what happens. I think there’s a good chance he won’t quite be himself, but still have a great shot to AA. Go Dan Go!

I don't know who the bigger clown is between Gabe "Your Head's Mine" Arnold or Tony "I"m going to break the all-time pins record" Cassioppi. Either way Ringling Brothers should be checking the portal once the season is over.

The officiating is horrible at this tournament.

The limp looked like an ankle but I've been wrong before on a few occasions.
Hope it's an ankle. Ankle's heal fairly quickly and often are not as serious as the initial pain makes it out to be. Knees are the opposite - you can just feel a little twinge in the heat of competition and it can end up being very serious.

EDIT - now catching up to comments and it could be a hammy. That could go either way depending on the severity of the tear. Let's hope for the best.

watched the replay a bunch of times. Didn't see. him turn an ankle or knee. He did reach for the hamtring a few times. Based on his gait I think hamstring injury is most likely. He. had full motion at the knee and ankle when he walked after the initial injury, then was too gimpy at the end for me to be able to tell.
Hamstring would make sense if they didn't examine knee or ankle . If he's cutting weight and a little dehydrated it wouldn't be the first hamstring to act up. Hopefully he didn't pop it if that's what it is .

Only reason I don't think it was a hammy is I never saw him reach back to grab it as most do when it is first pulled. I think it will be mild to severe knee
