2025 Big Ten Tournament thread

David need to redshirt. I thought he rode really well last year for a true freshman. Seems like a liability at 133
#6 ranked guy in the country is a liability?

Brantt is a well known insider and he said it was a hamstring. I'm not saying he's right or wrong but I haven't heard anything about it NOT being a hamstring

Why not? When has Gable ever had to get out from underneath.

I don't care how good he is, I just wish once somebody besides Bo and Chael would question the OLY redshirt, when he wasn't actually pursuing the team, wink wink.

Then again, somebody could point out that he's back in college (either enrolled in cupcake courses or not going at all) because he failed at the WWE, failed at the NFL (not everybody can be a Stephen Neal).

Of course, I fully admit I just have a visceral dislike for him and I am so damn glad Cassar got him twice. Had he not the fawning would be even more insufferable.
I ask the question can LeBron now play college basketball if he chooses? Or can J Fields come back to Ohio State?

I don’t think gable is near as good as he is now if he never loses to Cassar. I’m kind of glad he got him too.

Why do you hate him? I think he seems like a pretty likeable guy.

As freshman he was pretty arrogant. But not now IMO. He gave Greg credit today also.

Disliking a public figure is not a condition that requires "help", even if it's somebody that makes you swoon, Queenie.

Project much? Or do you just respond with argumentum ad hominem in the absence of an actual basis of dispute, such as that he was actually training for the Olympics or he he really didn't have the good fortune to assault the woman in a state with lax laws.

"When speaking to the media, Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman hinted that alcohol may have been involved. He also stated that under Minnesota’s current laws at the time on intoxication and a victim’s ability to give consent, Hennepin County Attorney’s Office “would restricted in how it could bring charges in the case”.

He later went one to state that “In neighboring Wisconsin, Freeman said, prosecutors have broad discretion to charge suspects who know or should know that someone's alcohol consumption can impair his or her ability to give consent. He said he and others have pushed Minnesota lawmakers to pass similar legislation but have been unsuccessful so far.”"

I said "dislike", not "hate".

I realize that since a certain generation arrived on the scene no dislike, disagreement or misgiving can be offered without the imputation of "hate" but that's not my problem.

I also said "visceral" which means I already admitted I don't have an objective reason.

I don't like my neighbor's dog either, like Steveson, it won't go away.

I'd expect him to be complementary of Kerk. They're long-time friends from suburban Minneapolis.

Maybe he's a better person now than he was then, but this isn't the best evidence.

In a month they’ll be back to posting hypothetical lineups with unrealistic NCAA finishes that surpass PSU.
Hypothetical lineups that include high AAs from other teams, because they assume they can poach them all to make up for the fact that they can’t recruit or develop.

Nah, I expect these results every year and I'm never surprised. And every year a few on this board cherry pick posts from a few idiots from the Iowa board and post it here like it's the consensus of Iowa fans.
But there are so many over there to choose from. Its like shooting fish in a barrel.
