Actually, I believe he was going to lose on criteria anyway.
He was winning 3-2 at the time of the push out. That's 2 years in a row Sidakov out-clutches JB in the semis. grr.
Yep. JB was up 3-2. Sidakov got a push out with 1.3 left to be up on criteria 3-3. Yolo brick made it 4-3.
Europe has to be so jelly of J'Den... he's perfected "their" style of insane defense and only shooting when you feel like it (and converting). He's so good.
I've seen plenty of wrestlers settle for giving up one there, or run out the clock, or even stalemate, but I've never seen anyone read the opponent's body language for the precise moment he relaxes and just jump out of it. That was nuts.

Dake is finally scored on at worlds on his own head pinch attempt, then angrily rag dolls his Kyrgi opponent 12-2 in the 1st.
Downey loses 0-13 to Germany. Kept going big and it not going well for him. Would have had Amine in the quarters, who beat Takatani (JPN) at the buzzer 4-2

Germany wrestler lost so Downey is out. He gave a pretty good account of himself. Better than I expected anyway.
Amine has Yazdani next. Yazdani has gone TF, F, F. Yikes.
Georgia wrestler into the finals so Graff is alive for tomorrow's repechage.
Yazdani makes quick work of Amine. Amine had a gameplan of taking it to Yaz aggressively, but he took poor shot after poor shot, and Yaz capitalized every time.
