Brushing off the Suriano example like it's no big deal is ridiculous. PSU went on a 9 year drought after he left without an All American until Lilledahl this year. That's indisputably one of Cael's rare mistakes. You're losing credibility if you refuse to acknowledge that.

I love Cael as much as everyone else, and he's been right 99% of the time, but he still makes mistakes once in a blue moon. He's human.

Suriano was a Cael Sanderson mistake??? Huh? How precisely does Cael Sanderson control decisions that Nick Suriano makes... or is responsible for the decisions? What precise "mistake" did CS make in regards to Nick Suriano? Your post is beyond bizarre.

Yeah, no.

Cael made the decision to not let Nick wrestle in the tournament. Nick wanted to try and felt like he got screwed and transferred because of it. Not sure why you're so confused by this.

Did Cael or PSU made that decision ???

That doesn't make it a mistake.

As far as Suriano's feelings about getting screwed ...the Tomasello incident at NJRTC. He was hypersensitive to such things.

His leaving was the best decision for both sides. It cost PSU exactly zero national titles, just a little angst among nervous fans about not scoring at one weight class.

In reality Nick could not push off and made the call himself.
