He ain't healthy. He is injury prone and has been his entire career. Last week alone he took half a dozen hits that were just flat out slobber knockers...he is a tough tough kid.
You have no idea if he is healthy or not. He took a few big hits on Saturday but this is P5 football. Players take hits. But you are correct that he is a tough kid.
I would say he hasn't be "healthy" since the Iowa Game last year. Kid is definitely a warrior though.
Sucks to because I think he was truly a dual threat. Him trying to be a pocket guy has killed his ability to make consistent plays.
Wrong. I just heard from a reliable source that Kerry Collins actually has another year of eligibility left and Collins will start instead of Clifford. It will be good to see Kerry in the shotgun again. Also, Zack Mills will be Kerry's backup.

If Allar starts, we are not going to win another game for almost a month given our lack of deep speed at receiver and how bad the O line and front seven are.
I'm going to respectfully disagree. If Allar starts this team has a real shot at 9-3 or even 10-2.

I don’t directly disagree with you, but if Allar can make at least a second read he should be better.
We sound like NY Jets fans if we start saying stuff like this. Jets fans worship the new QB and when he doesn’t do well, it’s the next rookie QB they worship. Vicious cycle.
Maybe it’s not the QB that’s the problem. Maybe it’s the Oline or WR that can’t get any separation or play calling

Your hatred of Clifford/love of Allar blinds you from a lot of things
Our problem is the scheme doesn't fit the talent and we don't have the receivers to challenge the deep third. Clifford isn't terrible well suited to the offense (Allar is) but he is the better option since the deep ball isn't a threat and we are forced to play opponents in the first third of the field.
Don’t forget Todd Blackledge. He can finish the Clemson game and still get to State College on time.
This thread is great. Clifford completed 74% of his passes on Saturday on his way to 4TDs 1 INT and 295 passing yards in a game that was an absolute beating. That's the best game Clifford has ever played.
