Any news on Buchholz and Bates?

I saw Buchholz on a cart with his ankle heavily wrapped.
I think Bates returned for a series.

Let's hope those two boys can play some meaningful minutes again this year...MSU will not be a pushover next week.

As soon as Buchholz went down I knew the national championships hopes went with him. PSU is not like Alabama, OSU where they can replace a starter with a ready to play now 5 star. PSU has 3 star projects that take 2 or 3 years to gain weight.

Buckholtz was said to be on crutches.

Can't be sure of course but it looked like Buckholtz got a knee injury and Bates got an ankle injury when Barkley fell into the back of his leg. Bates should be back this week I would think but doubt Buckholtz will....

Buch had his right ankle wrapped...probably a sprain...doubt we'll see him the rest of the regular season...

Lost for the rest of the season (five regular-season games) with an ankle sprain?
