Anybody ever drive to West Virginia for a game?

Just trying to see as many venues as I can and was thinking of going there next year for one of their games as it’s only about a 3 hour drive. Anyone ever go? How was it, is it worth it? TIA

I was at the game where WVU finally beat PSU for the first time in something like 27 years. That was in the mid 80's. Was a fun place to go. Not sure what it is like today, but I'm sure it has a good college town feel.

visited Morgantown once - not a bad town. Not one of the more picturesque campuses but Sunnyside is fun.

Jokes are funny and all, but the Shenandoah confluences with the Potomac in Harpers Ferry west of a line of the Blue Ridge mountains, so yes it actually about the state of West Virginia.

I thought as much. There was no way they were going to let that good time go on. It was insanity, but Heaven for an 18 year old back in the day.

Shit, there used to be a "patty wagon" at the bottom of the hill. They'd fill it up several times a night.

Depends on where you live. From State College and areas east, not bad down I99 to I68 to Morgantown. Alternate I76 to I70 to I79 (or US119) to Morgantown. Lot more motels than there used to be.

Make sure you ride their light rail system, really functional way to get between downtown campus and outshirt campus.
