Anybody ever drive to West Virginia for a game?

Just trying to see as many venues as I can and was thinking of going there next year for one of their games as it’s only about a 3 hour drive. Anyone ever go? How was it, is it worth it? TIA

I was at the game where WVU finally beat PSU for the first time in something like 27 years. That was in the mid 80's. Was a fun place to go. Not sure what it is like today, but I'm sure it has a good college town feel.

Sunnyside is dead. WVU decided to buy most of it.

I thought as much. There was no way they were going to let that good time go on. It was insanity, but Heaven for an 18 year old back in the day.

Shit, there used to be a "patty wagon" at the bottom of the hill. They'd fill it up several times a night.

That reminds me of the line I heard from A. Whitney Brown on SNL a long time ago (back when China only had about a billion people) that goes "In China, even if you're one in a million, there are still a thousand other people just like you."

Speaking of numbers, what do you get if you have 32 West Virginian women? A full set of teeth.

Depends on where you live. From State College and areas east, not bad down I99 to I68 to Morgantown. Alternate I76 to I70 to I79 (or US119) to Morgantown. Lot more motels than there used to be.

Make sure you ride their light rail system, really functional way to get between downtown campus and outshirt campus.
