He's an Iowa fan and he's 100% right. Look at what happened to Facundo. He's as good a bet as anybody not named AOC, but still far from a title favorite.
There is no one favorite in 157 this year and 4 or 5 guys with a legitimate shot (with Levi as one of them).
Because he was supposed to be Warnov, and he turned out to be just very good.

So I'm taking a quick scroll through HR. I see bourbon engage with the the Bird. It starts with Bird dishing out the usual contrarian abuse, but then somehow as if by magic, after talking weightlifting, in the words of the late great Howard Cosell, bourbon "renders him malleable with his suasion".
Then, almost immediately thereafter, who appears in the thread?

Ironbird and Bourbon definitely found their common ground discussing powerlifting. They each knew the same inner circle of notable powerlifters and had a nice discussion. I’m just wondering who this new guy is, TacoYota. He seems to love stirring the pot. Any ideas?

Honestly, Bird is a caricature that nobody takes seriously. Gobbles is the one that should have his own thread because of the steaming piles he puts out there that many of them believe because he feeds them the occasional real nugget.
