Aren't season tickets cheap at Iowa? And you can get them pretty easily if early enough. I don't think that's the case for a PSU match anymore.
You can get an Iowa wrestling season ticket for 85 bucks and there really is no waiting list or anything. Lol. Talk about the benefits of having a big arena that the fans don't really care to fill more than once or twice a year...
Your fans are number 1 because AJ said so twice.
We should all start to purchase their season tickets and only show-up if PSU is in town. After a few years the place would be an empty sellout for all but one match every other year.
When Paul and I were at Carver a few years ago(when some idiot threw the beer bottle at Carter), there was at least 2,000 empty seats. The 2 suits just above us were empty.
On that note, it would be very cool if we could have a new arena for our wrestling, volleyball, and gymnastics teams.

Well yes, that is part of the reason. The other reason is to throw beer cans and spew racial slurs toward the other team's athletes.
And many empty seats again this year when I went with my son.
Turk - your unyielding support of your Hawks is actually quite admirable. That’s the sign of a true fan. On the other site there was a recent article and thread about the Beaver reno and one of the site staff who is very wired - they are all very wired when it comes to football - said the new wrestling only facility was a done deal. Should be coming in a couple of years.
Said it was not a priority for Cael but a few things were happening in the sport and our big boosters stepped up and said "watch this!" He was unsure if it would include a new venue.
Nice to have the best program in the sport in all facets.

Actually, I was thinking about Der Fuhrer. Ever see the movie Downfall? That guy was delusional but some people loyally followed him to the end.

Probably Cael was just slow-playing the facilities things to let Ryan and Brands show their cards and then trump them to steal their thunder before it ever got going. Do you think we're going to release a bunch of photos of some dusty half finished facility that looks like a dungeon?
I would say 5-D chess, but Cael doesn't even need 3-D to trounce those guys. If you think the PSU hate is high over there now, in 3 years it's going to be nuclear.

As much as I am a Nittany Lion fan, I will admit that Carver Hawkeye gets rowdy in big matches. Rec Hall is quiet and sometimes dull, but that's just because us PSU fans have seen so much winning over the years it's second nature to us. We Are
Rec Hall and Bjc get rowdy for big matches as well.
