Beau Bartlett!!

Teasdale does look thick here, if he really was struggling with maintaining 125 I could believe it....

What’s the scouting report? I’ve not seen a lot of Bartlett, but he looks good on his feet and attack-minded, with a pretty good motor. He also has some of that Yianni-like flexibility that can be so valuable in preventing an opponent from scoring a takedown. Thoughts?

I keep checking this thread for @Goggles post. He was the one who was FULL COURT PRESS on Beau. Without his post this thread seems somewhat empty. Besides the fact that we scored a great recruit of course!!
Yeah, I'm getting a bit concerned about the guy.

The dynasty says goodbye to one Bo, and welcome to another Beau! It continues.

He's the #6 P4P HS wrestler in the country as per Flo.

Great pick up! Flo is saying 133/141 in college. RBY, Howard, Bartlett, N Lee, Teske...lots of talent in the low weights....And middle weights....And definitely the upper weights.

Our Bo's get bigger
Bo and Bo
Beau
what's next?
Bough?

Definitely gotta grab that 7th grader from Louisiana who goes by Beaux!

Cael's also battling against PSU Lax for the dual sport athlete from Connecticut named Bro.

I heard Cael is passing on the Kentucky sophomore who's been waffling between wrestling and jockeying, name of Beauregard.

But also heard he's putting on the FULL COURT PRESS to land the Dagestani kid Borislav Borislavovich.

I'm trying to place a Beau Bartlett match but I'm just drawing a blank. Can't find anything on youtube to jog my memory. I'm almost sure it was Bartlett though. I think it was this year and I think it was a dual meet. A rematch. Maybe the kid had beaten Bartlett before, but this time Bartlett kind of manhandled him and decked the kid. Anybody have ideas on this match? Did he pin Van Ness?

Yes, it was Van Ness. Bartlett.pinned him in 0:24. Van Ness had won earlier in the year.

They wrestled a wild 3rd match that Bartlett won by approximately 65-60. OK, slight exaggeration -- it was actually 20-13. Which is still a stunning amount of points for a 6-minute match.

He was disqualified.

I was at the dual with Blair in Kingston. Beau got him in a headlock on their feet and took him to his back for the fall. Loudest roar I’ve ever heard in a small gym. In his 3 years at SEM in their biggest duals against Blair, I believe he has won by a fall each year. I met him last year at our local Wegmans and he was very polite and friendly.

A few weeks ago the father of a SEM wrestler who lives down the block from me confirmed to me that Bartlett was heading to an Ivy school. Either he did not know or was keeping the news confidential for the kid as I expressed my interest in him for PS. While I’m ecstatic to have him, I would have taken the Ivy education.
