Super stoked to see that Mark got revenge on his 1st round loss to Kinchadze for 3rd.
Spencer, Larkin, Nolf, Hidlay, Macchiavello, and Gwiazdowski are the winners.
Mirasola had Wick's leg turked into a figure-4. Wick for some reason reached across to grab Mirasola's ankle, which turned his hips and put him right into a crossface.
Some comments on Facebook that Lee may have tweaked knee again. Could be similar to the Kerk hammy paranoia.

Proud of Spencer. He has gotten a lot of unnecessary hate over here for awhile now. Fitting finals opponent for him to punch his ticket to the Olympic Trials. Good for him!
His never ending crying about being booed when desanto beat him caused that. I was there it did not happen.
There was a PD situation with Nico in on a shot on his sleeved knee—I would have said it was the first.
If only his Midwestern devotees didn’t build him up to be a combo of Sadulaev, Abe Lincoln, Churchill and Gandhi and have a pallet of excuses ready whenever he takes a loss, there would probably be a little less “hate” here.

I was there as well. Spencer got boo'd as he was literally backpedaling around the mat under assault by DeSanto, gassed and stalling his ass off trying to protect his lead. More booing the ref than anything, but he got boo'd the same as any wrestler in the history of PA doing the same. Heck with the state finals, it could be a Christmas tourney finals and you would have heard that.

Also if only his Midwestern devotees didn't define "unnecessary hate" to include anything short of full kowtow to the point of licking his boots.
For example: the standing ovation DeSanto got at Hershey for the greatest upset in PA history -- correction, was for Lee losing because he picked Iowa.
Never mind that Marsteller flipped from PSU to OKST, did the lasso celebration at the crowd when winning his 4th, and got a standing ovation.

This is true. They (the Lee's) were likely more butt hurt about the standing ovation for DeSanto than the booing. It was up there with the all-time moments at States, probably up there with Schalles pinning Chapman.
Heck, I was on my feet clapping for half the 1st period of 132, and my partners son was on the mat wrestling. Wrestling for a state title with a serious knee injury that prevented him from practicing for the last two months of the season. Fortunately he won so there was no need to release the MRIs.

All of this Iowa talk and all I can say is the only Iowa guy I saw at Worlds in Belgrade was Royce Alger, and that was in the bar, not on the mat.

Also Jason had a better college career: better W-L record, higher bonus rate, better NCAA Tournament placement, more career NCAA Tournament points, and never got pinned -- all in a tougher weight class.
And won one of those titles on one leg.

I was there also. He didn't get booed, Desanto was cheered. The IA people were completely wrong on this one.
You guys, take it easy on Turk.

He looked really good I thought. Super tough weight and he competed well. All of our young guys showed extremely well I think. Lilledahl is so good. He beat Deshazer and Bilal. Bilal knocked off Brandon Courtney before LL beat him. Also, Nico beat Deshazer 3-0 and LL beat him 2-1. I thought a few of these guys were going to just be too strong for him but he wasn’t muscled around. Spencer is a different level but I came away from this tournament so impressed with the high school kids we have coming in
How about batting eyelashes at the ref to coerce a stalling call?
