125 Final - Luke Lilledahl vs. Charlie Farmer (ARMY)

Period 1:
Here we go! Lukes first final tournament match in the blue & white. Circling & tying up & hand fighting. Luke reaches for a leg, nothing. Luke drive in & hits a double leg TD, 3-0, out of bounds, restart. Farmer still down. Luke with a good ride & gets Farmer bellied out. Luke working the wrist & has a tight waist. Luke pressuring on top, looking for a turn. He working a tilt, but can't hold it long enough for points. Luke goes over 1-min riding time. Farmer gets to his feet & Luke lets him go, 3-1 Luke +1:24 RT. Luke back in on a leg & gets another TD, 6-1, out of bounds, restart. Luke +90-sec RT. Farmer down, Luke riding. Farmer gets to his feet, but Luke takes him back down to the mat & they go out of bounds, restart. RT +1:48. Farmer still down. Luke riding tough, goes over 2-min riding time. Luke throws a boot in, Farmer gets to his knees & the period ends.

Period 2:
Luke takes down, gets to his feet, but Farmer riding tough. Luke keeps working & gets the escape, 7-1, Luke +1:51 RT. Luke looking for an opening, shoots, nothing. He shoots again & gets to the leg. Farmer trying to counter, they're scrambling & it's a stalemate, restart. Circling in the center, Luke drops in on an ankle, locks up a cradle & gets another TD, 10-1 & then they go out of bounds, restart. Farmer gets the escape as Luke goes neutral start, 10-2. Luke quickly back in on a leg & gets another TD, 13-2, as the period ends. Luke +2:19 RT.

Period 3:
Farmer takes down, Luke riding tough & locks up the riding time point. Farmer gets to his feet & finally gets the escape, 13-3. Circling, Luke shoots, nothing. Luke stalking forward. He gets to a leg & gets another TD, 16-3. Luke cuts him, 16-4. Luke quickly back in on the leg for a final TD & the 19-4 TECH!

Period 1:
Circling, tying up & backing apart. Both looking for an opening. More circling, tying up & breaking. Beau reaches for a leg, nothing. More circling & tying up. Beau with a quick single for the TD, 3-0 & takes Carter out of bounds, restart, 1:09 left. Beau +16-sec RT. Beau goes optional start & gives the escape to Carter, 3-1. Circling, head tapping & breaking. Carter shoots, nothing & then they're back to circling in the center. Beau drops in on a leg & is working. Carter is wrapped around the waist. Beau keeps working & gets another TD, 6-1. Beau rides out the period.

Period 2:
Someone takes neutral. Circling, Beau drops in on the legs for another TD, 9-1. Beau riding, has an arm bar, goes over 1-min riding time. Beau turns Carter over & gets 4 NF, 13-1. Beau hammering on top now, looking for another turn. Stalling warning Carter. Beau goes over 2-min riding time & rides out the period. 13-1 Beau +2:06 RT.

Period 3:
Another neutral start. Didn't see who picked it. Carter in on a leg, but Beau scrambles out of it. Back to center, circling, Beau snaps, tries to come around, but no luck. Beau drops in on a leg, takes Carter to his back & gets the FALL!

Gable coming back knocks you guys down a peg, thank god. and hopefully you'll go with Facundo at 157. Davis could pull a Davis again. Bartlett is taking 3rd. I'll cross my fingers that Lilledahl sucks on the mat.

I'm not saying it's certain. But there's a path to PSU taking second.

149 Final - Shayne Van Ness, vs. Andrew Clark (Rutgers)

Period 1:
Circling, Van Ness snaps, nothing. Van Ness stalking forward immediately, looking for an opening, snapping & faking. Clark gets to a leg, but potentially dangerous is called, stoppage & restart. Circling, Van Ness drops in on a single leg, switches to a double & gets the TD, 3-0. Van Ness is riding on the edge & they go out of bounds, restart. 1:52 left. Clark gets to his feet, but Van Ness trips him back to the mat. Clark gets back to his feet & gets the escape, 3-1. Van Ness is in on a leg & gets the TD before they go out of bounds, 6-1, restart. Clark down, Van Ness breaks him down. Van Ness goes over 1-min RT. Van Ness has Clark bellied out now & he's working a wrist. Van Ness goes over 90-sec riding time. Van Ness looking for a tilt, but can't lock it up. Van Ness rides out the period. 6-1 Van Ness +2:02 RT.

Clarke takes down & Van Ness gets him bellied out quickly. Van Ness hammering on top, cranking on Clark, looking for a turn, but they go out of bounds, restart, 1:17 left. Clark still down. Van Ness breaks him down, then lets him up for the escape, 6-2. Van Ness immediately drops in for another TD, 9-2, then cuts Clark, 9-3. Van Ness in on another TD, 12-3. He cuts Clark again, 12-4 & they out of bounds, restart. Circling, Van Ness trying to throw Clark & takes him to his back for another TD, 15-4, but Clark rolls to his belly to avoid giving up back points. Van Ness is hammering on top again & goes over 3:30 RT. Van Ness rides out the period. 15-4 Van Ness

Period 3:
Van Ness takes down & gets to his feet. Clark is holding on, but it's a locked hands on Clark, 16-4, and then Van Ness gets the escape, 17-4. Circling, Van Ness snaps, shoots, nothing. He keeps coming & they go off the edge. Stall warning Clark. Circling, hard snap by Van Ness, but nothing. Van Ness coming forward again, looking for an opening. Clark just defending. They're on the edge & I can't see what's going on. Van Ness drags Clark back on the mat. Clark 2nd stall warning, point Van Ness, 18-4, restart. Circling & Van Ness drops to a leg, but time expires. Van Ness adds a riding time point for the TECH!

That's a couple times now that Byers has referred to SVN as a "4th year sophomore". Does that mean that SVN definitely got a medical RS in 2023-24 and has eligibility through 2026-27?

Period 1:
Circling, Kasak coming forward a little & they break. Kasak coming forward & they tie up, Kasak snaps, nothing. Tying up in the center & circling. Kasak reaches for an ankle, but Facundo backs away. Back to center, tying up & pushing. Kasak coming forward a little, reaches for a leg, nothing. Facundo comes forward a little, but he twists his foot somehow & there's a stoppage. Facundo works his foot loose & they're back to action. Circling, Facundo tries a throw by, nothing. Kasak driving forward, has Facundo on the edge & they go out of bounds, restart. Kasak drops in on a leg & gets a slick TD, 3-0. Kasak riding, looking for an arm bar, he's in deep & looking for a turn, but Facundo just won't go over. Stoppage for something, restart. Facundo gets to his feet, trying to peel out, but Kasak stays with him & they go out of bounds, restart. Facundo still down, Kasak +41-sec RT. Facundo gets to his feet, turns & gets the escape just before time expires. 3-1 Kasak.

Period 2:
Kasak takes down, gets to his feet & gets the escape, 4-1. Circling, Kasak snaps, nothing. Kasak is definitely the more aggressive wrestler. Kasak coming forward again, Facundo pushing back. Kasak working a 2 on 1 now, pushing forward again & they break. Circling & then tying up, Facundo reaches for a leg, nothing. Facundo reaches again, nothing. Facundo not really committing on those shots. Circling & pushing & they break. Facundo pushing forward now & they break. The period ends. 4-1 Kasak.

Period 3:
Facundo takes down, gets to his feet, but Kasak hikes him up & returns him to the mat. Kasak riding tough & goes over 1-min riding time as they go out of bounds, restart. Facundo still down, gets to his feet & gets the escape, 4-2. Kasak +1:14 RT. Circling, Facundo coming forward now. Kasak hurts a shoulder or something & there's a stoppage. Dan Monthly comes out, but Kasak waives him off & we're back to action. Circling, Facundo reaches for a leg, nothing. Circling & tying up, Facundo shoots a double, but he's too far away & Kasak easily evades it. Facundo is coming on stronger now. Circling, Facundo coming forward again, Kasak near the edge, 30-sec left. Stall warning Kasak. Facundo duck attempt, no luck. Facundo looking for a leg, but can't get there & the period ends. Kasak adds a riding time point for the 5-2 decision.

165 Final - Mitchell Mesenbrink vs. Gunner Filipowicz (ARMY)

Period 1:
Circling, Mitch coming forward. Filipowicz gets Mitch's leg, pulls it in, Mitch fighting, but Filipowicz is in deep. Filipowicz looking for a cradle, but Mitch gets his leg free & fights it off, restart. Mitch drops in on a leg, elevates it & trips Filipowicz to the mat for the TD, 3-0. He takes Filipowicz to his back & adds 4 NF, 7-0. Mitch riding tough on the edge & they go out of bounds. Stoppage for something, not sure what. Mitch +41-sec RT. Mitch goes neutral start & gives up the escape, 7-1. He quickly drops in on a leg, elevates it & is trying to trip Filipowicz to the mat, but Filipowicz is really long & Filipowicz's leg is too far away. Mitch keeps working & finally gets the TD, 10-1. Mitch has Filipowicz bellied out now & he goes over a minute of riding time. Mitch riding tough. Filipowicz can't do much & that's how it ends. 10-1 Mitch +1:25 RT.

Period 2:
Mitch takes down, gets a quick escape, 11-1 & is immediately back in on a leg. Filipowicz is locked through the crotch. Mitch keeps working & drives through for the TD, 14-1. Mitch riding again, goes over 90-sec riding time. Filipowicz gets up & out for the escape, 14-2. Mitch let him go & then loses his mouthpiece before the restart. Circling, Mitch pulls in on the head & shoots, but nothing. Mitch in on a leg again & gets the TD to finish off the 17-2 TECH
