You should read the GBD. These three scientists are saying that because risks are different for different age groups that we should treat them differently.

They say that we should have protected those in nursing homes by rotating only staff with natural immunity or a negative test.

They also say we should let those with very limited vulnerability (like those under 40 without a precondition) live life as normal.

They are completely correct.
