Willie, thanks for another slush fund commit .mcgowan in play
I also think we are in on Josh Barr. At least in his top 5. Another beast from MichiganWhat is your analysis on this one? We own Michigan.
As long as McGowen is......I am not counting him out as a PSU 133. Of course with Davis and Howard on board......who knows. Well....Cael doesBig prize here.
- Fargo 16U champ in 2019.
- Fargo JR champ this year.
- Won Who's #1 this year 15-7 over NJ's Joe DeLuca, who just dominated Beast of the East.
I presume this means we're out on McGowan.
Verbals are nice and all, but the Signings will be even better. As long as McGowen is......I am not counting him out as a PSU 133. Of course with Davis and Howard on board......who knows. Well....Cael does
I would guess that Flo Karen now has them concerned about them not wanting to look like they're copying Willie's intellectual property. 🤣Flo is a little slow ...rankings hasn't been updated in six months
I’m failing to see where you were joking….Willie, thanks for another slush fund commit .
All joking aside, thanks for all you are doing for wrestling. It’s much appreciated.
Must be sleeping.Lemme follow up with this 2morrow morning
Thinks he's dreaming lolMust be sleeping.
For now…
He's half as old as the current iowa roster. How old is this kid? He honestly looks no older than ten.
It was a good 1 tho.Thinks he's dreaming lol
Is this in reference to a comment that was in here a few weeks ago where I questioned if Willie was really who brought someone to the team?I don’t know his name but his initials are @Str8DBLz
Just messing with you. I actually can’t remember who was mildly criticizing recruiting this year, but I think you may have been.Is this in reference to a comment that was in here a few weeks ago where I questioned if Willie was really who brought someone to the team?
He committed to PSU....not PITT. Doubt if he's driving 100 miles to find out#1 113 pounder? Is he going to be big enough to be a legit 125 pounder? Also, has anyone heard how he is doing against Nico in the room?
Willie says we are still in on McGowan .There seems to be some lament over McGowan, who would be considered the better prospect?
If he takes a redshirt he has nearly 3 years to get there.#1 113 pounder? Is he going to be big enough to be a legit 125 pounder? Also, has anyone heard how he is doing against Nico in the room?
#1 113 pounder? Is he going to be big enough to be a legit 125 pounder?
I still remember people questioning if Spencer would ever be a legit 125. LolHow many kids are less than 125 2 years into college, 1/100th of 1%?
I wrestled 98 as a Freshman in HS, and graduated college at 6'2" 195
Lots of people. He was destined to be 110 pounds foreverI still remember people questioning if Spencer would ever be a legit 125. Lol
Are you worried about that? Or just concerned?#1 113 pounder? Is he going to be big enough to be a legit 125 pounder? Also, has anyone heard how he is doing against Nico in the room?
Some of the the fine folks over at the Hawkeye Report have their own theories on how that happened.😂DT was at 113 once and he somehow grew just enough.
He’s still in the small side, no? Just happens to be he is from another planet in terms of skills that being smaller is not a detriment.I still remember people questioning if Spencer would ever be a legit 125. Lol
Heard Iowa didn’t want him because they figured the unfamiliar hand gesture he is making in that picture was some kind of insult to the familiar fist Tom and Terry are always throwing up.
He isn't 113 anymore. Ranked #4 at 120 by both Flo and MS. Wrestled at 120 a couple weeks ago and 125 last week.#1 113 pounder? Is he going to be big enough to be a legit 125 pounder? Also, has anyone heard how he is doing against Nico in the room?
Jordan Conaway, 113 state champ his SR year.DT was at 113 once and he somehow grew just enough.
I dont know, is he? He doesn't look small to me but maybe he is.He’s still in the small side, no? Just happens to be he is from another planet in terms of skills that being smaller is not a detriment.
he’s small. he’s said in interviews he doesn’t get over 130. he’s just freakishly strong.I dont know, is he? He doesn't look small to me but maybe he is.
Ok. Never really thought much about it because he always looked full sized to me.he’s small. he’s said in interviews he doesn’t get over 130. he’s just freakishly strong.
DT wrestled 103 as a HS frosh.DT was at 113 once and he somehow grew just enough.
Wasn’t Cenzo, Nolf, DT, Zain,RBY, Nico and Nick Lee all 103 or 106 their freshmen year.
He was also still only 16 this past summer when he won Fargo (per an interview on USA Wrestling’s YouTube page), so likely still filling out.He isn't 113 anymore. Ranked #4 at 120 by both Flo and MS. Wrestled at 120 a couple weeks ago and 125 last week.
Mcpat, You clearly pointed out Pennsylvania Wrestling!
check out this crazy 106 bracket from Cenzo’s 9th grade year.
Division 1 wrestlers from that bracket:
Vincenzo Joseph
Michael Kemerer
Scottie Parker
Dom Forys
Ethan Lizak
Tyrone Klump
Kenny Yanovich
Jake Gromacki
Zach Fuentes
Zach Elvin
Dan Martoccio
I count 11 Division 1 wrestlers, many of them starters and several all-Americans in one high school state bracket… in a state with split brackets (separate for large vs small schools). Crazy.
edit: I think there are six NQ’s among those 11. Again… crazy!
