For those who thought he looked a lot bigger than Facundo at WNO, he was down at 160 this weekend. He also took two losses. One to Dean Hamiti and also to Cody Chittum who appears to have bumped up from 145! Chittum controlled him pretty good too.

Maybe he cut weight this weekend and that impacted his performance? Just throwing that out there as I have no clue.

Valencia wrestled 160 the entire 2020 season.

Also, it's not like he lost to 2 stiffs. Hamiti just won Super 32 and is headed to Wisconsin..

Valencia lost 13-3 to Fields OH as well. The weight cut has taken its toll.Quick twitch muscles are not firing.

Yeah, I wasn't trying to insinuate this was shocking. I just know there was a lot of talk on here that he was way bigger than Facundo and even if he might be a little big for 160, he definitely isn't a huge 170. The Valencia family has hollow bones. They always look way bigger than they are.

Not sure what this means for the Facundo match. I think it's more than likely a style thing. Facundo reminds me a lot of Hall.

I should have added the context on Hamiti. I kind of assumed everybody knew how good he was after super 32, but in hindsight that was a big assumption. I also wanted to mention the Chittum thing because I know that you guys are in on him as well. Crazy impressive if you haven't seen the match. Was way smaller and looked completely in control.

I probably owe an apology to Cael Valencia (and his brother Anthony). I declared a pox on House Valencia after the other brother uncharitably thwarted our beloved Babee Marky's multi-year national champion foreordination. The irreversible decline of House Valencia's fortunes began the moment the curse was uttered.
