He is such a polarizing player imo. He's played a little out of control these past two years and burned what was a much needed redshirt freshman year out of necessity. So what now? Everyone is plugging Micah in at MLB but does Cam make the starting lineup?
I think those that say no feel like he's a too-tall, lanky DE trying to play LB.
I'm going to say that I think he runs away with one of the starting jobs with ease. Having on-field experience is a huge plus and he's had a lot of it the past two years imo. When that happens the game just slows down for you and you can play more instinctual. I think he's VERY fast and hits like a ton of bricks. My one concern is that he plays nasty in a way that flirts with poor decision making and I can't tell if he's the defensive version of Irvin Charles sometimes but that may be too harsh. I say starter and I think it's Koa, Cam and Micah next year at LB; although we still play alot of D with only 2 LB's out there.
