JK...but I love his shotgun spread offense!...also love how he lines up his QB under center and goes power in short yardage.
Wonder which big program is gunna steal him from PU....Auburn?

He’s going to OSU because the Bucknuts posters, if anything like the posters here, are going to demand Urbie and his entire staff be fired before the sun comes up.
No one besides peetzpoolboy is calling for Franklin’s head.
That doesn’t stop a few idiots from pretending that completely legitimate criticisms of many recent coaching gaffes are — rather than criticisms of those gaffes — demands that Franklin be fired. They don’t have any counter to the actual criticisms, so they create straw men.No one besides peetzpoolboy is calling for Franklin’s head.

He appeared on cue, right after my post.Feel free to quote them. Hell you’ve accused me of wanting Franklin gone and I’ve never said it once.
At least he’s improving or making changes. They should have gotten smoked by OSU. Not so with our coordinators. That Indiana game you see any improvement? It’s not a CJF problem it’s a hired coordinator problem. If all fans were like our posters Brohm wouldn’t be at Purdue to beat OSU cause he would have been fired after starting 0-3.
Wrong again. CJF is fine and what we need he needs to assess his coordinator issueThen you haven’t been reading.

That's impossible, no 21 year old human being can possibly learn how to take a snap under center and line up in the shotgun. It is absolutely impossible, don't you understand!!JK...but I love his shotgun spread offense!...also love how he lines up his QB under center and goes power in short yardage.

Maybe not better, but certainly more rational. He’s a better fan than you or I.
Jeff Brohm is a mother fvcking genius play caller!

Maybe someday you will actually learn reading comprehension....that would help.I’d say not seeing an issue with a loss to Rutgers isn’t rational. Nor was your compulsive need to make a bunch of completely unrelated posts in the osu-Purdue thread about criticism of the staff. But you do you.
Now we want them to learn from Purdue’s coaching staff....oh good lord. If Brohm coached here you and most others would have wanted him out after the Eastern Michigan loss. Maybe they should call and get some tips from the Old Diminion coach because they beat Va Tech...they lost the rest of them but they beat Va Tech.I would hope that some guys in State College watched the second half of that game and learned how to close out a game when you have a double digit lead.
It was just one of those nights for the Bucks. Watching tOSU secondary stand around while PU whippets were zipping around was bizarre. tOSU looked uninspired and Purdue had a plan that they executed. Great balance on offense.Loved watching the PU boys slap around the Bucknuts.... and the PU group did a nice job.
That said.... apparently, this would be the “plan”:
1) Have the opposing defense - repeatedly - part like the Red Sea on simple trap and draw plays.... with the guys on the back end standing still and watching the backfield as the tailback ran untouched to the end zone.
2) Have the opposing QB - twice - throw unmolested “pick six” balls out in the flat.
3) Run a simple flanker screen into three and four defenders - who then either decide to “not participate” in the play, or try to tackle the ball carrier by shooting a Russian Tie.
4) Have the opposition’s WR Corp drop a half-dozen of Mr Screen Passes check down throws.
That’s a damn good plan - works every time !!!!
Yep, it’s always the coach’s fault.Still a half to play ... but Brohm has gone from a genius in the 2nd half of tOSU game to a real dummy against MSU today. PU had 8 carries for 16 yardsand only 125 yards of O in the 1st half today. I blame Brohm.![]()

MSU has a stout DL. That's for sure.Clearly the depth in the B10 is better than we thought all the while the amount of excellent teams is perhaps less than anticipated.
The amount of excellent teams throughout college football this year is less than anticipated. Take Bama out and it would be a very interesting year.Clearly the depth in the B10 is better than we thought all the while the amount of excellent teams is perhaps less than anticipated.
